## What is ColorMimic?

Turn photos into five-color palettes with ColorMimic. Pick colors from your images, fine-tune HEX values, and lock your favorite shades while exploring new combinations. Save palettes with their original photos and share beautifully designed color cards.

CREATE FROM YOUR PHOTOS
Take a photo or choose one from your library. Move sample points to find the shades you love. You can also send a single image from the Photos share sheet to ColorMimic; open the app afterward to find its palette in your collection.

EXPLORE COLOR HARMONIES
Start with a color from your palette and explore monochromatic, complementary, analogous, triadic, and tints-and-shades combinations. Keep locked colors and save a new palette alongside the original.

CHECK CONTRAST AND COLOR VISION
Preview text and background combinations, compare contrast ratios and AA/AAA text thresholds, and explore approximate color-vision simulations.

REFINE EVERY COLOR
Edit HEX values or use the full-spectrum picker. Long-press a swatch to lock it, then create another palette while keeping your favorites.

KEEP YOUR INSPIRATION
Save palettes locally with a thumbnail of their source photo. Reopen, rename, and organize your collection on your device.

EXPORT FOR YOUR WORKFLOW
Share beautifully styled PNG color cards, or export palette colors as Adobe ASE, CSS variables, or SwiftUI code. Device sharing and local creation require no account.

SHARE ONLINE
Sign in only when you choose to publish a palette page with your creator name. Manage and revoke your shared links from the app.

AUTOMATIC NAME SUGGESTIONS
On supported devices, Apple Intelligence can suggest a palette name. You can always enter your own.
