Spend money on getting new tech instead of name changes. Thinking of moving accounts to TAPCO. When I try to log in and it’s tell me a phone number that is not mine. The temporarily fixed it and when I tried to log back in again, the same thing happened. Constantly having to type in user id and password. Never remembers Face ID setup. Buggy, slow, gives me random errors when trying to deposit a check, and worst of all this update still doesn’t accept and endorsement stamp. I have to tap something on the screen six times before I can tap a seventh time to capture the front of the check. Same with the password. I use a password storage app and copied my password but the password input pane doesn’t allow the paste function no matter what I did. Once I got through those steps manually the app would not allow me to make a mobile check deposit. If I could give you zero stars I would. So far Umpqua’s online and app banking has been by far the worst electronic banking experience I have ever had. Continue to be unimpressed. The password reset instructions don’t work. Just went to deposit a check through the app. Most bank apps have an auto capture function when taking a picture and give clear instructions on what needs to signed on the back, not with Umpqua. Once the pictures where taken there was no character recognition to confirm it captured the routing and account numbers correctly. Lastly, it asked what email to send a confirmation but didn’t just default to my profile’s email. I wish they would get the begs out of this! I have been waiting over a year for things to change! I must say it did work better before the merger, so I am hoping it is just growing pains from that having occurred.
