Please consider! ### 4/5 — Decent app *2021-01-04, version 2.2* Nice lil library app! Convenient and easy to use. Wish they’d make a version compatible with iPad. ### 2/5 — So slow :( *2020-02-15, version 2.2* I was excited when Columbus libraries updated their app, which I use often. However, while the new app looks more modern and prettier than the old one, it is much, much slower. It takes twice as long to search for things and utilize it because it is constantly pausing to load. Most of the time, only half of the graphics (showing covers of books and movies) actually load. Very disappointing. I find myself dreading having to use this app to request something. I actually miss the old one!! ### 1/5 — UPDATE TOTALLY S U C K S !!!!! *2019-12-21, version 2.1* Ever since the update takes FOREVER to load!!! Spinning arrow makes me want to spin my phone like skeet. Now, only one item fits on your screen at a time. Still spinning!!! ### 2/5 — Checked out? *2019-12-20, version 2.1* I can view book that are overdue, soon to be due, or on hold, but nowhere can I find a full list of books currently checked out. I use this before I travel to make sure nothing will come due while I’m away. I have to keep logging in even though I tell the app to “remember me” but it can’t even go two seconds without logging me out again. I think it can improve in areas like giving a notification when your items are due soon or when they have been renewed, that would help me out a lot because I forget a lot. ### 1/5 — Crashes *2018-12-27, version 1.3.3* Repeatedly crashes on both iPhone X and iPad. I tried using the search function and never got a result. I tried searching by the name of the book, then the author (Stephen king), then just using King. Every time it said no direct matches could be found. Not worth the download currently. ### 1/5 — Terrible if you want audiobooks *2016-09-05, version 1.1* I used to use the older version to download audiobooks for my long drives. With this new app, I have not been able to download a single audiobook. It needs to show whether a book is available or allow me to see only available books. Very frustrating to finally find an audiobook only for me to be 79th in line for a hold. ### 2/5 — No Hold *2016-08-26, version 1.0* I can't seem to place a hold since the last update. I use this app a lot and can't say that I find the current version any improvement over the last. I don't think it is as attractive, I couldn't care less about the social media aspect -- that's what Goodreads is for -- and, worse still it seems a lot slower to load. Probably all the unnecessary graphics. ### 3/5 — Observations & a wish *2016-08-25, version 1.0* I use the "hold" function frequently and have found it quick and easy to navigate through the card catalog system. I have found the app is not always accurate in listing which books I have checked out and sometimes shuts down when trying to load that list. My dream wish is that the CML library app could interact with the Goodreads app to tell me which of the books on my to-read list are currently checked in. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Can’t login. *2021-04-26, version 2.5* After the update (April 2021), now the app doesn’t recognize my account login information. The information I inputted is correct, but it just don’t work. It’s broken now. ### 1/5 — Thanks for breaking it. *2021-03-22, version 2.5* This app worked great for me for years. Today I open it, it asks for my card number and passcode, I enter it correctly, and it won’t log me in. ### 1/5 — App has a bug *2020-08-03, version 2.2* It’s nice that it allows many of the latest options, and while it’s nice I don’t need to have my library card right in my hand because the app can show you your card.
