### 1/5 — Katastrophale Software ohne Updates

Die App und das Headset haben noch nie ein Update bekommen. Es wurde der Support bereits bei Auslieferung eingestellt. Die App stürzt immer ab, wenn man die Lautstärke ändern möchte und läuft generell nicht sehr stabil. Das fehlende Update auf Mesh 3.0 macht das Headset unbrauchbar, weil meine Freunde mit original Sena oder Schubert-System von Sena (beide haben ein Update auf Mesh 3.0 erhalten) nicht mehr abwärts kompatibel zu Mesh 2.0 sind.

Man muss die Sena App verwenden wenn man die Lautstärke einstellen möchte weil diese App hier sofort abstürzt wenn man auf das Symbol klick. Man kauft sich ein teures BMW Gerät und nichts funktioniert richtig, das ist einfach nur armselig! Seit Jahren Firmware 1.0 das darf man echt keinem erzählen 🥵

Leider schaltet sich die App immer aus wenn man die Lautstärke in der App einstellen möchte und die Lautstärkeregelung am Controller funktioniert auch nur mit ganz viel Glück

Ich habe das Gerät gekauft, auf Empfehlung meines BMW Händlers, dem ich vertraue. Bislang bin ich von den BMW Produkten grundsätzlich überzeugt. Das fehlende Update auf eine Mesh 3.0 Version finde ich allerdings sehr schade und hoffe, dass BMW und Sena das in Kürze nachholen werden. Mit Mesh 3.0 läuft die Verbindung wesentlich stabiler und verbraucht zudem weniger Energie, was bei dem verbauten Akku durchaus wichtig ist. Hierzu habe ich selbst schon Erfahrungen mit dem Sena 50r gemacht, was mit 3.0 deutlich besser läuft. Bitte kümmert euch darum, es macht das Gerät besser und unterstützt den angestrebten hohe  Qualitätsanspruch von beiden Häusern, BMW und Sena!  Macht euren Kunden bitte weiterhin soviel Freude, wie in der Werbung versprochen wird ;-).

Die COM U1 ist ja hardwareseitig ein Sena 50 R und somit eine solide Hardware. Allerdings ist die App und die Firmware völlig veraltet und steht Lichtjahre hinter dem Original Sena. Bitte dringend die App und die Firmware aktualisieren, denn das bremst die tolle Hardware komplett ein.
Daher kann ich leider nur einen Stern vergeben.

Die App ist identisch zu der Sena App. Die BMW Version ist allerdings immer noch 1.0. Bei Sena ist man inzwischen bei 2.7. Vorallem fehlt das Update auf Mesh 3.0. Bitte daher dringend mal ein Update raus geben.
