Not only is an easy to use but also it have features and options that makes any beauty professionals life booking easier! So happy I switched over. ### 5/5 — Best salon software for the immense value *2025-04-30, version 1.13.22* I’m a new stylist so the amount of work I have to do that would be considered busy work is a little more than someone who already has an established clientele as far as being on top of people to come back, selling retail and maintaining that relationship. This software takes all of that away from me and I’m able to automate it with my clients. The other part is that with this tool clients are only allowed to have one account with them throughout the entire software so you were able to see how other stylist have rated this client as far as no-shows go and the biggest thing being in inappropriate behavior or behavior that would otherwise not be considered acceptable. Everything I would want in a booking system, this has being that it’s also a smaller company. It is much easier to have changes that would be beneficial. As you are able to get in touch with the software developers, much easier than a larger company. I cannot recommend this tool enough for new stylist and can’t recommend it enough even more for an established stylist who is finding themselves inundated with busy work that doesn’t have to do with being behind the chair. ### 5/5 — Love it! *2025-04-30, version 1.13.22* Recently switched from Vagaro and am absolutely loving everything about it! All of the AI features are amazing. This booking app allows you to be more hands off meaning you aren’t wasting time calling, texting, emailing clients. Comb does all those things for you. Not only is the booking app easy to use for both you and your clients but Comb offers MANY customizations to make your life even easier like reminders, waitlist, pre-appointment instructions, post appointment emails, birthday emails, integration for seamless checkouts including text to check out. Since I switched 3 people in my suites have also switched and we all love it. They also use AI to help you word things professionally and help you with marketing upselling services and many other integrations all while not making John Conner nervous. They are a small growing company that takes pride in making sure everything is working well for you. If you are looking for a better booking program- check them out! There’s a huge glitch and I’m not able to set up my account. I’m actively losing business as none of clients are able to book with me. I wish I could attach screen recordings to my review. There’s no customer support email or phone number. They offer a live chat but when you click on it, it says the link has expired. ### 1/5 — Customer service is no existent. *2025-11-11, version 1.13.29* Don’t expect any response from the CEO Michael after you have paid for the year. He gave his email address and told me to email if I had any questions. I’m going to another software this week. This has great potential. Comb is by far the best I’ve had. They are new and there are bugs and things to work out but I have never had a company make changes so fast. Everyone is requesting different features or additions to the software and it happens pretty quickly. I’ve not seen a platform as robust as this one unless you’re paying $100’s a month. So for an independent stylist, it is affordable AND customer service is on top of things. The vast amount of features & automations make my job easier so I can focus on working on clients vs all the admin. I was with another booking software since 2014, and was slightly intimidated by the idea of having to learn a whole new system. I hadn’t even taken advantage of the features I had (not easy to figure out) and didn’t even realize I would have to pay more to take advantage of other features when I wanted to make changes to my business. Comb has all of these features for one flat rate and I was able to figure out how to customize them to my business. It was also so much easier for my clients to book and manage appointments. No complex login, no trying to figure out what to tap to find their appointments. Text checkout so I don’t have to hand my phone over or be forced to buy a reader. Forms, waivers, customizable deposits and reminder messages, marketing, pre and post appointment instructions. This platform for the Independent Hair Stylist is the best by far. Ive been a booth renter for a few years now. It took me a few days to get adjusted to every but any help or assistance I needed customer service has been the best and fast to respond. I love that they are listening to feedback on the little tweaks that us, the stylist are giving to make it ever better as well! So when I heard I’d be switching to a new booking app, I was nervous. But Comb Works has been such a pleasant surprise! It’s incredibly user-friendly and makes scheduling, managing appointments, and staying organized simple and stress-free. What truly sets Comb Works apart is the support. Mike is amazing—always helpful, responsive, and genuinely focused on what stylists need to succeed in the salon. I especially love that we can suggest future features and that they actually listen and implement updates that make a real difference.
