### 1/5 — Worst mobile banking app

I use mobile bank accounts of around 8 banks in Sri Lanka, this is the worst. Features and absolutely minimum and they don’t grow. Worst of all is the login flow, app gets locked time to time even if you enter correct login credentials. Recorrect login flow is a mess, there is an option to rest it called “Having trouble logging in” which is absolute useless feature which is not working at most needed times or helpful to customers. It asks you to visit the branch. I’m not sure who designs these user experience flows and absolute rubbish is a modern digital era like this. Other bank apps are way ahead.

Terrible app experience for expats. Constantly forced to change passwords, endless OTPs for every action, and the app locks you out after a few failed attempts. There’s no proper online support either — you have to call a Sri Lankan number from overseas just to regain access. Very outdated and frustrating banking experience.

I have been using ComBank Digital for quite a while when I was in Sri Lanka. I have always found that this app was super convenient. But after I started to travel back-and-forth in and out of the country, this app has been glitchy. Must change your password every now and then, I understand the concern of security, but for an individual who travels away from Sri Lanka, ComBank representatives ask me to visit my branch is a bit unrealistic. Even to send some money if I don’t have a person I’m opted out from my own account. 

Really disappointed the way your representatives handle calls not taking accountability and providing a solution. An OTP should be as simple as receiving from either your phone number or your email which you are registered to. 

Specially given the fact that sometimes OTP are sent to the email first.
