## What is Combate Timer?

Combate was born on the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu mats, where clear timing keeps classes moving and athletes focused. It is built for any training that runs in rounds—from BJJ, MMA, boxing, Muay Thai and wrestling to conditioning circuits, HIIT, Tabata and interval workouts.

Set your round duration, rest time, number of rounds and Get Ready countdown, then run a clear, distraction-free timer that is easy to read at a glance.

FEATURES

• Flexible round, rest and Get Ready timing
• Finite or unlimited rounds
• Save and manage up to three custom presets
• Clear visual phases for Get Ready, Round, Rest, Paused and Complete
• Pause, resume or end a session with confidence
• Optional timer sounds, vibration and local phase notifications
• Keep Screen Awake during active sessions
• Review completed sessions in History
• System, light and dark appearance options

COMBATE PRO

• External display over AirPlay or HDMI—a purpose-built room timer, not a mirror of your phone
• Add your gym name and logo to the room screen
• AirPlay display and audio routing controls
• Auto-Pause Music when a session finishes
• Type an exact duration or round count instead of stepping to it
• Built-in Tabata, EMOM and interval formats
• Unlimited saved presets

Combate Pro is available as a monthly subscription at $2.99, an annual subscription at $24.99, or a one-time Lifetime purchase at $39.99. Prices are in Canadian dollars; the App Store shows the equivalent price in your region. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and can be managed or cancelled in your Apple Account settings. Lifetime is a single purchase that never renews.

Combate works without an account. Timer settings, presets and session history are stored locally on your device.

Whether you are coaching a full class, working with a training partner or training solo, Combate keeps every round on time.

## Version history (last 4 releases)

### 1.1.2 — 2026-08-23

-Combate Pro is ready the moment you open the app. If you have Pro, the gym TV works the first time you plug in and every Pro tool is unlocked before you go looking for it.
-Something not right? Settings › Report an Issue now sends us what the app was doing when it happened, so a problem can be fixed without a dozen questions first.
-Tapping a duration without Pro used to do nothing at all. Now it explains itself, and the built-in presets are visible instead of hidden.

### 1.1.1 — 2026-08-15

Quicker hands on the timer. Pause and stop now sit side by side, marked with symbols you can find mid-round without looking twice.

Your session stays put, a stray swipe can no longer close a running timer.

Started a session by mistake? Pull down any round alert and tap Stop Alerts. No need to open the app.

Every screen now fills the display, top to bottom.

### 1.1 — 2026-08-13

• Ending a session no longer leaves a bell or horn ringing. Every cue now stops with the timer.
• Closed a path where a running session could jump back to Get Ready mid-class.
• The Combate Pro screen now retries on its own when plans don't load, and offers a Try Again button.
