I mean, why can’t you make it so there’s a way to do that by changing it in the settings.Why can’t you buy gems with coins like 15 gems for 350 coins. Second why do you now have to tap 6 or 7 and 10 times instead of 5 to do your ability, you didn’t have to change that. You should also add a endless mode or stage, since I think it would be like Combo Quest 1’s endless gameplay. Lastly, remove the companion upgrade that you can get in stages, and make it so every time you unlock another ability for your companion it upgrades the thing it does, like its damage. (Get rid of that purple symbol at the side when you fight too.) This is like the only game that is fun, doesn’t require Wi-Fi, and I can actually beat it. Nice job to whoever made this. ### 5/5 — Too many people are saying it’s a cash grab *2021-12-29, version 1.0.4* I really like this game but I don’t think people should be complaining that it’s a cash grab because all you have to do is farm gems at the dungeon with a good character and use the daily chest, and after a bit, get a hero or rare hero chest and pray you get a good character or upgrade an existing character that you main. It might take a while, but at least people with patience can do it. ### 4/5 — Great until its not *2021-10-28, version 1.0.4* I have played this game for years, i have spent weeks passing time going to and from places, from going to school and or just a long trip just playing this game. I recently downloaded it again and remembered how much i loved the game. Only took two days to beat it and out of boredom decided to save up 800 gems for the 5 rare hero chests, theres just one problem. I beat the game, and for some reason the extra dungeon you can replay has ramped up so much its frustrating. Maybe im just rusty, but before i beat the campaign i could consistently beat all 3 lvls in the extra dungeon, no i can hardly get to the second chest. Besides the fact that the first enemy now has 1000+ hp and i only have 15-20dmg and like 200ish hp it can get annoying and really punishing for messing up early. I have had to rely on the doctor to heal me just so that i can actually make through early, and thats if the enemies don't 3 shot me. Besides having to level up damage a lot i have to do damage back and not get stuck in a 1-2 min fight, i have noticed that if i miss 3 times I could probably die right there because how much damage they now have. I understand its a challenge now but this just gets frustrating. Because i have saved a lot of my gems My highest level hero is lvl2 samurai and i dont even play him that much because the difficulty of the dungeon. I understand the last update to this game was 2017, and that this game will stay in the state it is right now probably indefinitely but it has to be said if this is the last and only thing left to do in the game after completing the short main quest is a huge difficulty spike, well its not really a good way to end it off. I still do not hate this game but frustration with enemy scaling in the extra dungeon and sometimes dealing with huge waves of attacks and only being able to hit back once or twice for only a tiny amount of their health sometimes, which they can heal all back if they decide to just use a lot of those healing blocks, has gotten to me. ### 5/5 — great game *2021-10-15, version 1.0.4* waiting almost 3 years now for part 3. Or add a button. I hate having 8x or more combos packed, try to swipe to use and instead it acts like I tapped, having me take damage AND lose my combo. You guys made 2 games of this and still having fixed the swipe. I want to give this game 5 stars because I enjoy timing games but the swiping is so frustrating when it doesn’t work half the time. I want to swipe my combo not thinking “am I going to activate it or just get a miss” please fix that or add a button to activate the combo. Thank you. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Make it so that we don’t have to wait to play your game. *2020-12-26, version 1.0.4* Should not have to wait to play your game :/ ### 1/5 — Disappointing *2020-04-25, version 1.0.4* I loved the first combo quest, mostly due to its satisfying gameplay and cool progression, in which your character changes based on the upgrades you get, but I could tell there was still room to grow, so I was excited for the sequel. Sadly, the sequel is another bad iPhone game, of course. Combat has been purposely made harder, e.g executing the magic move is now a swipe rather than a click, meaning you can sometimes die because it didn’t work, everything is less clear, more grindy, and pay to win, just stick with the first game. ### 1/5 — Good fun, but then... *2020-03-13, version 1.0.4* It could be so good, but you can only upgrade your hero with coins a couple times, and then you have to use gems to get him to lvl 2, which requires at 175 gems depending on the hero. I have 45 and that’s after trying to farm them for a half hour. There’s all this locked stuff you can’t unlock, I can’t pass the campaign because my guy is too weak, but there’s no way to increase his power now. Looks like they just really wanted you to buy gems. I only got to enjoy it for a half hour ### 1/5 — Combo Attack *2020-03-12, version 1.0.4* This combo attack needs to be fixed. I have dragged my finger up and down, left and right, pressing and holding, changing of location of the start of my swipe, and have it not go off. Yet for some reason randomly when I’m just tapping it will go off for no reason at all. It really messes up the flow of the game and is extremely frustrating. Note that this game would have been a 5 star game without this glitch. With your basic starting unit you can get clobbered by the boss of the first world in 4 hits. What does 4 hits represent? You misclick the moving arrow that’s going 3inches per second and land 1 pixel ahead or behind the block only to take punishment damage (for missing) and hit damage (because you missed the red block). This happens twice and boom you’re dead try buying premium currency for a rare hero. ### 1/5 — Ruined by Forcing Player To Purchase Premium Currency *2017-08-20, version 1.0.4* You need to use their Premium Currency to level up your character. In the first hour the game gives you BARELY enough to feel fair, but sooner rather than later you are stuck and have to buy your way out, or come back every 8 hours for your tiny allowance. ### 1/5 — Awful *2017-06-15* First of all, this game is a cash grab. In the first one the fighting was challenging, but not stupid. The random flashing lights makes it basically impossible for you to nit get hit because you cant see the little blue cursor. The hit boxes for the attacks are non-existent. So the game more or less wants you to lose so the only way to play is by paying. These kind of "freemium" games are just for cash grabs and cant be played without road blocks put by the developer to get you to pay.
