Only issue is when you go to rate your driver the app just crashes. Not only is the interface mediocre but ComCab-Aberdeen recorded 11:59 pm when the app -as per my request- showed 04:55 pm. So I accept and it takes me to the App Store. But I have the most recent version. How does that work? ### 1/5 — 1 star *2024-10-30, version 34.6.17* Driver didn’t turn up ### 1/5 — Poor service *2024-09-07, version 34.6.17* Seems like it works as it lets you book a taxi to the main airport entrance. Taxi accepted our booking and appeared to be due in 3 minutes and you can follow its progress on a predetermined route to your location. You can also watch it go to a different street and leave you stranded. Both you and the driver can cancel the booking. But if you try and get a new driver, the original one can keep accepting and cancelling your booking to leave you hostage in a never ending loop of stress, frustration and confusion. There is unfortunately no way to talk to the driver directly to try and resolve the issue. The option to call in the app only allows you to keep making new bookings through an automated system. When you realise this and hang up, they will call you back to make you do it again. ### 1/5 — Shocking *2024-08-18, version 34.6.17* Taxi booked for 23:15, taxi turned up at 01:15. No comms, no way of tracking, no point in booking as it’s up to the drivers to accept. Disgraceful. Time for Uber to come to Aberdeen. Trust Pilot are real… wish i’d known before booking with these awful people!! Sure this review will never see light of day on their own platform but will try to post on other platforms to warn others.. Worst experience ever with taxi firm. I travelled to Aberdeen for family birthday dinner. Booked taxi well in advance to take myself and elderly mother to restaurant for reservation. Checked via app several times after taxi never showed up ( they don’t message or call you to inform you of any delays, arrival times etc), called and spoke to someone who said driver wasn’t assigned but after hearing we were going to be late promised to find a driver and send asap. Called again 20 minutes later (now 30 minutes late!) and was told still no driver assigned! Man on phone could not care less, no apology, indifferent towards fact that elderly woman now been waiting so long and were so late for birthday reservation at restaurant. I think they must be used to it. Received confirmation and estimated cost. Messages telling me my taxi was on its way and what to look for. As a lady travelling alone that was incredibly useful. Taxi arrived right on time.
