Our weekly subscription is intended for short-term use only. For longer-term use and best value we recommend our yearly subscription, which has an 80% lower average price. Please note that if a user were to keep our weekly subscription for an entire year, the total yearly amount would be one seventh of what you state - you appear to have multiplied the weekly amount by the number of days in a year - 365 - rather than the number of weeks in a year - 52. Regardless, our weekly subscription is intended for short-term use only - for ongoing use we offer monthly and yearly subscriptions at prices up to 80% lower. You can access these subscriptions via the 'More Options' link on the paywall or the 'Subscription Settings' link in the main menu. We offer a lineup of pro & up-and coming comics (who we pay and who have duly granted us the rights to these videos) with new shows added regularly. To support that, we charge a subscription. In standup, YouTube generally has short promo teasers or pirated videos that are violating copyright.
