## What is Comet Lander?

• Your mission: To gently land a Space Probe on a flat surface of a comet before running out of fuel and avoiding any comet debris

• 36 levels of fun filled action for all ages

• Easy and intuitive game controls and gameplay, yet challenging and engaging as you embark on ever more difficult missions

I think the creator of the game kept the old-school feeling, but made it fresh and new by going on missions  good job

Okay, I can’t speak to earlier versions of Comet Lander, but as of 8/17/23, this is absolutely the best lunar lander type game since the original. I would even go so far as to say that it’s better than the original. Great vector style graphics, lots of options, perfect playability, easy to learn and difficult to master. Great fun. My only complaint is that I wish the lander were about 20% larger than it is. Other than that, my thanks to the Devs for making Comet Lander such a great game.

The very definition of easy to play, challenging to master.  My only complaint is that the lander is very small. Would’ve liked to have seen this game with a larger ship and landing bases to match. With that said, this is a still a great game that brings back that undeniable rush of nostalgia. Lots of fun. Would be great if the Dev would add a practice level with unlimited fuel but otherwise . . . Excellent work!

I was looking for a classic lunar lander type game. This one is quite close, but has some drawbacks. 
1. Easy Levels start with the lander right above the pad so you don't have to move sideways much.
2. Once asteroids start flying at you it is quite hard and not as fun since you still have very little fuel. 
3. Fuel level and speed are useful, but are represented by a number which makes you take your eyes off the lander to read it and risk crashing. A graphical (bar) representation would be better.

Overall it's somewhat entertaining but not addictive enough for me. Only buy if you're into hard repetitive games.

**Developer response:** In the newest version of the app we have added the ability to configure Comet Lander to display speed, fuel and altitude as bar gauges. I love the simplicity of this game and its retro feel. Perfect for when you need a quick break from life. I only wish the author would give the option to play the harder levels without worrying about fuel. The meteors are a great challenge, but too often you run out of fuel before you can land.

Hi, we have added a new feature to Comet Lander. Comet Lander now has an easy mode. In this mode you get extra fuel in the levels where comet debris appears. Enjoy this new feature.

This is the worst of the Luner Lander games I’ve found on the App Store. There isn’t even an animation to show the thrusters. Pathetic.

Hi John566, thanks for your feedback on thruster animations. We are excited to let you know that we have added an option to make the thrusters visible in a new version of Comet Lander (v 1.7) which is now available in the App Store.  In the Main Menu go to Settings. There, you will find a switch, Thrusters Visible, which should enable thruster animations. We really hope this new feature enhances your Comet Lander experience. Hi John566, we are always listening to our customers and appreciate your feedback about thruster visualization. In the design planning phase of the game we went back and forth on adding thruster visualization and decided against it to keep the graphics extremely clean and simple (a design directive). The game does provide thruster sound effects and a glow over the thruster button as feedback when a thruster button is pressed. In future revisions we will definitely think about adding an option to visualize the thrusters.
On your comment about reviews, the reviews actually match the feedback we have received from our customers, that the game is fun, easy to learn and control, challenging as you traverse the different levels and really, really, addicting! 
We really hope you give Comet Lander another chance, but understand if this clean and simple graphics, non-busy, style of game isn’t for you. Thanks for trying Comet Lander anyway and taking the time to review it.

This application is simple but yet very entertaining. I LOVE IT.

Even though I play it in my phone, it feels like I am playing in my first computer many years ago!
