Very frustrating. Had the installer come out to fix but they could not find a solution. Been over a month now. Cooker ### 1/5 — No control *2023-09-21* The app shows the current temperature and status of the system, but I have no ability to change settings. Makes the app pretty useless. Trying to report a problem with this app, which is Apple’s thing, doesn’t fly as well. It looks like I better make sure to turn off my system before going away because the remote functionality is completely gone. ### 1/5 — Worthless App *2022-08-08* This is the most basic and worthless app ever. I’m embarrassed for the company that they even have this lame of an app when there are things like Nest out there. It’d be worth it for me to rip open my walls to install the necessary extra wiring (according to my installers 😒) to put a nest thermostat in. This Comfort Sync is a joke. Keeps telling me my login is “invalid” - and I’ve tried uninstall and reinstall. Got this message in the app on both Phone and tablet. Deleted the app and re-downloaded it several times. Rebooted phone and tablet several times. Rebooted internet router. No change. Unregistered the thermostat and disconnected from WI-FI access several times. No change. Deleted account and created a new account to register the thermostat again. The thermostat was connected to the internet and my devices were too, working just fine. Was able to control the thermostat via web browser, but not via the app. Called the support and was told that there was a system upgrade ( the interface on my thermostat did change), that they were aware of the problem and IT was working on it. Hmmmmm. You have my email address- it is how my account is registered. Why could you not send out a mass notification? It fails to provide the same functionality that is offered on the touch screen. It uploads the screen saver through pc web portal and correctly identifies if an image sizing issue from the pc but fails to identify the same failure from a mobile app. Really sub par and should have opted for a better thermostat/mobile app. That and as of this writing mobile access is broken and they claim they only found out the apps complaining the device (thermostat) is not connected. You can connect via the web portal, but app cannot. It’s either the server or the app. Not the device. It’s been down weeks. ### 1/5 — App stopped working. No support *2022-03-30* For a few days now the app says that the device is not connected to the Internet. The thermostat says everything is connected just fine. Not sure where to turn. Either you can’t log in or you can’t use it due to server issues. I miss my Nest thermostat!! ### 1/5 — $825 paper weight *2024-01-07* The furnace is like most but the thermostat with remote capability is an absolute waste of money. It sounds wonderful sitting the presentation. The remote programming worked fairly well for a year. It then stopped syncing with my Wi-fi. It quit recognizing any Wi-fi. Do not buy this thermostat. I don’t believe you can buy an Armstrong furnace without this thermostat according to installer. If this is in fact true, do not buy Armstrong. $825 for a thermostat with a one year warranty criminal. ### 1/5 — App needs to update *2023-11-02* This app worked well for the first year we had it. I deleted and reinstalled it and still the Comfort Sync screen appears but nothing happens. What’s going on??? ### 3/5 — Slow upload *2021-11-17* System takes time to upload . Also after it loads one system part of your house you sometimes have to go out and in again to get to load other system if you have multi systems and zones. Time does not display correctly time expect time to be an hour off. Problem is a programmer problem they have with time zones . I am sure they are aware of problems since this is a replacement of older models. ### 3/5 — Does What It Does. But... *2019-12-29* Basically, what everyone else says: The app works. I have not seen any bugs. The web site (sort of) works. But the control offered is very limited. They’ve got a good, sophisticated, system for managing your HVAC... but the level of remote control and lack of integration with any other home automation equipment is really unforgivable these days. No Alexa skill, no documented API, no ZWave interaction, no If This Then That. These folks need to wake up and smell the 21st century coffee. ### 3/5 — Good but could be better *2016-09-25* The features programmed into the app work well. I am giving 3 stars because the functionality is basic - mainly adjusting the temperature or enabling/disabling the "away" mode. I believe improvements should be made for additional stars. For example, users should be able to view and edit schedules, view energy consumption, and manage additional settings like the background picture and brightness. Additionally, I believe Armstrong should consider partnering to integrate with Apple HomeKit. ### 2/5 — Stopped working with no update! *2024-06-19, version 1.1.1* The iPhone app just stopped working on my phone.
