## What is ComfyAI?

ComfyAI is a private AI chat app with persistent memory, AI characters, group chats, and flexible model choices.

Chat with AI characters, keep useful memory across conversations, organise group chats, and switch between normal chats and character chats in one place. ComfyAI is built for longer conversations where context matters.

Use ComfyAI for:
- Private AI chat
- AI characters with memory
- Group chats with multiple characters
- Writing and story planning
- Everyday questions and longer conversations
- Custom chat setups
- Model choice and advanced settings
- Bring-your-own provider keys where available

Persistent memory helps ComfyAI keep track of useful context, so conversations do not have to start from zero every time. You stay in control of what you create and how you use the app.

Optional subscriptions unlock higher usage limits and additional premium features. The core app remains usable without subscribing.
