I reads the cbr files with no issues and it lets edit the meta data which is really convenient. There’s a small bug when you tap the page to show the scroll bar and tap again to hide it, the image will always move up and stays there. You have to zoom out to make it center again. ### 3/5 — Hard to read on a phone. *2026-05-25* Great, very simple app. Would be a 5 star if I didn’t have to resize every page when reading on my phone. I turn it sideways on my phone and it sizes up vertically instead of horizontally making it too small to read. I’m able to stretch it to the right size but doing that for every page is a drag. If you get around to improvements I’d like to suggest a count total so we can see how many books are currently in the library. It keeps track of your progress, and can switch directions if you go between manga and western works. I only have two criticisms at the moment: sometimes the page turn animation stutters a little, and I would like the option to view two pages side-by-side when in landscape mode on the iPad. I already own a bunch of manga and just wanted to upload my own. Plus it has a no data collection policy which is so amazing in today’s world. But there’s a few things I hope the dev will address in the future. 🔸The bar at the bottom to scroll between pages doesn’t work for me. So I can’t quickly get to whatever page I need to. 🔸I read a lot of short manga so the story wraps up quickly. But when I get to the end, I can’t go back to the beginning to “reset” it unless I manually swipe backwards each page. Perhaps there could be a reset button? 🔸when selecting a manga or comic, perhaps there could be an overview tab of all your pages so you can quickly scroll through and select a page to start on? One small niggle: when consecutive pages are different sizes or shapes, it sometimes fails to “fit image to screen”. There are no simple ways to navigate forward. ### 4/5 — Great App (Feedback) *2025-10-17* Great app for viewing comic books you own already. It does something the iPhone should do natively but somehow doesn’t. Glad this solution exists. Really love how you can just push a button and it goes backward for manga or vice versa for wester comics. The thing that keeps it from being 5 star is it’s a bit hard to tell what is read and what is unread. I am on a 27 volume comic, and in the middle of it. Once you finish the comic, the progress wheel goes away. I wish it greyed out the comic, dimmed it, or put a check mark on it to show what I have read and what I haven’t. Haven’t had any issues. But a few days ago I bought an m4 pro. Now it’s a mess. It doesn’t see files inside folders. The interface shows no menu/settings buttons. And after every slide it shows every new page zoomed in completely. My previous one was 13 inches M1 Pro and everything was ok. And there is an annoying white “home button” line in the button of the screen. It drives me crazy. Please, dear developer, hide it. Files inside folders have never been recognised to begin with, and the settings button has never been part of the interface. You will find all settings in the Settings app, under Apps -> Comics. There you'll also find the option to keep the page zoomed after a slide. Have to throw all pdfs and CBS’s without any folders nor organization whatsoever for it to work. It stores comics, understands some metadata, allows you to edit title, volume, issue #; and of course you can read comics. It’s not fancy but it is superbly functional.
