Paid, but the app told me I still needed to pay $3.99 when I clicked on the fonts. Closed the app and reopened; same thing. Went to apple and downloaded full version, clicked yes to purchase thinking it would catch that I had already paid. Nope. Shrugged and opened the full version that I’d paid for twice. It told me I have to purchase the full version to get the fonts I wanted to try. 🤷‍♂️ ### 2/5 — One to avoid... *2023-06-12* Within moments of buying this App I regretted it. Clunky does not describe it. Applying text and arranging it is a nightmare. Could not copy the photo. Could not access the help function. AND I am sick of seeing that shark with the kitty in it’s mouth. I “lost” the font cos I had to reset my phone. There are no means to reach you for help. I think this is incredibly unfair. *This is to update on my previous review. Support reached out to me and solved my issue. I greatly appreciate the help. Very happy that I can now use the same font again. It is so much better than other apps where you add text- this app is text on steroids! With the variety of balloon text holders, it looks like you are really saying the words! You can also change the whole look of your photo to different ways to look like a cartoon, painting, colors, emotions, etc. And so many people are cartoon enthusiasts! They get a kick out of it and ask me how I did that! I use this app almost daily- that's how fun and useful it is! Update- I still use this app- daily now! I am a professional Tarot reader and I take a snapshot of the card layout and using this app, I can write the date and any caption I want! Again, it's not boring old text, this app lets you get creative! My clients love it! For professional and personal use- I use this daily! ### 5/5 — Ticked OFF *2021-05-30* I used this meme maker for the longest time. Best meme maker ever, TILL I MADE THE MISTAKE OF UPDATING IT. So, I used to use a font that was white with black border, but you removed it and left me with all these wonderful fonts that aren't bordered and won't show up as well... I thought well maybe I need to buy the app. Then I'll get that font back and as a bonus I'll get all the new fonts! Not the flipping case. I am so frigging annoyed with app developers that are blinking and nickle diming we the consumer! IF I BUY AN APP I WANT EVERYTHING. As such you terminated my font and after I went and paid for the app, you want more for the new font sets?! Screw you.
