Comica VM40 is my favorite new piece of film technology. Having the shotgun mic itself store audio is a breakthrough idea and eliminates the need for long tangled XLR cables. The app has great reliability for MOST things, like adjusting settings. However, I could NOT get the Phone Speaker Monitoring feature to work, which is really disappointing, because I would really love to listen to the live audio through my AirPods in an emergency situation where 3.5mm headphones are broken or lost. Would hope that there is a fix for this soon. But otherwise a great product and a great app to go along with it.
