Now it makes it harder for me to know what I need. Come on guys…..get it together. ### 2/5 — Always crashes on iPhone 10 *2020-12-03* App crashes constantly while trying to scan barcodes or use the search bar in the eBay analyzer. Nice to be able to pull up your collection to check what books you have or need while out at stores or comic ones. Sadly the app feels unfinished. Luckily you can build your collection on the website and see it on the app. The barcode scanner is great, when it works and doesn’t crash the app. Using it on iPhone 10. ### 1/5 — Keeps shutting down *2020-01-02, version 1.1.1* When I search my collection or use the bar code feature it will often just shut down the app. - submitter this months ago and same problem. App just shuts down, and when I look at inventory it never reflects correctly. It will list one book 8 times ... but I only own one copy. Please Fix! ### 1/5 — This app is super (disappponting)! *2018-05-04* I have waited years for CBR to finally develop their own app. That is why I was so happy yesterday to find that it was finally available. I bought it as soon as I found it in the App Store. My joy quickly died away when I found it to be quite slow and, even worse, to find that it keeps crashing whenever I use the search function. There is no reason for the search bar to get stuck behind the keyboard. Also, I added about 60 books and had about 5-8 of the books I wanted to add crashed the app. Scanner works sometimes when UPC is in database. Would be nice to be able to add UPCs to the database. They nore apple will refund you your money. I was charged without my authorization. requested a refund through apple was denied then just tried to deal with by using the app well the app now wants me to purchase a second subscription to even log into my account. I then submitted another refund request was denied again. I spoke with an apple supervisor they said kick dirt. It’s the app developers problem now to refund me. So I contacted the app developer they basically are saying I’m lieing about the refund from apple which I’m not have proof of two separate denied refund request. And that they said it’s apple’s problem to refund me the money they have nothing to do with the money. So does that mean they don’t make dime on there app? Hmm makes since why I doesn’t work for a lot of people after reading there reviews now. Not a very professional way to run a company comic book realm. If you can’t run a professional business this day an age you shouldn’t be running one then. [buyers beware of a scamy scandalous possibly fraudulent company] ### 1/5 — Waste of money *2024-10-31* Purchased this for the barcode scanning feature which does not work currently. App and website are extremely difficult to navigate . ### 1/5 — Horrible App!! Refund *2023-07-27* All the negative reviews are correct, this application is very buggy and absolutely not productive. My lists created from website account show a total in the app but the books are not in the list. Updating a list on the website doesn’t immediately sync to app. Adding books takes time and isn’t intuitive. Worst of all you can’t get a refund!!! Save your money and use their website, which is usable but takes a moment to figure out. Please give me a refund!!! ### 1/5 — Enough is enough….. *2023-07-17* I’ve been with u guys forever and fir a product to get legit worse over time just doesn’t make sense! What drives me nuts? Poor app design, and I know it’s not easy designing an app, but man o’ man my app crashes; when there is no picture, crashes on scanning, also brings up the wrong comic on UPC scan all the time. What bums me out is I don’t see the app getting improvements …like (issue specific searches, hold down cover previews, key comic finder, key comic tracker, graded comic pricing different from raw, missing comic submission form, CGC or CBCS census integration, a sales board in-app, bug report form) ### 1/5 — Waste of money. *2021-08-15* This app doesn’t work. The search function is a complete joke. To search for Spider Man you can’t search “Spider Man”. You have to search “spi am”. It’s incredibly frustrating to want to something as simple as add something to your collection or do a basic search and this app seems to make it purposely difficult. Don’t spend the money. Don’t waste your time. Fix The App ### 1/5 — Is this working? *2020-08-17* So far I can’t even get past the login screen. Try to register and nothing happens, it just stays on that screen without even letting me know if it saved my info. The scanning function runs good and is useful for the fast archiving. ### 5/5 — New to Hard Core Collecting *2018-04-03* I’m relatively new to Hardcore Comic book collecting. With that being said my biggest issue was making lists and keeping track of what I had and what I was looking for. A bunch of sites offered to track my purchases and help catalog my collection but Comic Book Realm was the most user friendly to me. The only problem I had with that was having to use the Desktop site which isn’t optimized for mobile or have my laptop while sorting comics. THEN CAME THE APP! At $14.99 it’s pretty steep but it was well worth the cost. Having my lists at the tips of my fingers so long as I have my phone has now saved me time, money, and effort in my search for comics! It also has a nifty barcode scanner, shows you the covers and variants when available, and gives you an estimated value which is pretty neat. Overall I would recommend this app highly if, like me you are having a bit of trouble keeping everything organized! Happy Hunting! ### 5/5 — Love it!!!! *2018-03-01* This app is just AWESOME! I’ve been using ComicBookRealm’s website app for a couple years now and it’s been great, but I’ve always hoped that there would be an actual app release...and here it is! Simple interface. Built-in barcode scanner. Barcode scans show you more info, cover pic, cover price, and current value if the data is available! You can even click over to see what the market is like on the comic. It’s got everything I’ve been looking for. Awesome work! Almost there keep up the good work. ### 4/5 — Not bad for it being a new app. Just some tweaking. *2019-07-18* I love how down to the detail I can get with my comic books. I love being able too enter in my grade of my comic book, and then be able to type in the notes exactly what’s wrong with it. Then it automatically tells me the value while considering the grade of the comic. I’m not a professional grader but I have a good idea, and knowing close to the exact value of my comics is great! I’d say this is my favorite feature. I also love other things like the “sell list”. I do buy and SELL comics daily. But obviously like every new app (people don’t consider it being new when rating) there are some problems and I hope the developers will read and consider this comment. 1. The search process is okay, although I’d like it better if it had its own tab and I wish it saved our recent searches. For some users like me with a collection of 5000+ comics that becomes my most go-to place and it doesn’t even have its own tab. It’s annoying clicking twice then typing in “Amazing Spider” 500 times. 2. Once I add a series, for example amazing spiderman vol.1 . Then I’d like to then go into my collection, find ASM vol.1 and be able to see everything I have (which I can) but then to also be able to have a “+” on the series blue title box in order to add ones within the same series I don’t already have. eliminating the searching process. This adds eas of access Which in my opinion is the most important thing in an app. 3. Once I add a comic and go find it in my collection I then cannot find my information on the comic that I manually entered in. Like my grading, notes, how much I paid for it. I cannot see this information unless I press “edit in collection/sell list” which does not seem like a very official or good looking way too see what I care about the most, which is what I truly have. I can see the information about the comic in general just like I see on the website, but I also need to be able to see my notes, my grade, and my value with the grade I gave in a more professional and official way. I hope you developers take time to consider this! I love the app and will probably completely ditch my other one I use once it’s a bit further along!
