### 1/5 — A downgrade from the MTL Comiccon app

*2025-07-02*

Not a fan of the UI/design of this new app, especially when it comes to the schedule tab. It feels too cluttered with the unnecessarily huge red banners, big text and big partner logos to separate every few entries on the “schedule” page. I get that red is your brand’s color, but it’s not a fun color to look at on a screen. There’s too much of it, it’s distracting. You should take a look at MTL Comiccon’s app from last year as reference. That one looked better.

I also tried to make an account on the app, cuz I was curious about your new badges thingy, but I never got a confirmation email and now it says that my “User account is disabled”.

I’ll be waiting for the ability to favorite our planned events on the schedule as well, so we can actually schedule things and use the app for its intended purpose, cuz as of now there’s not much point to it.

I do like the idea of centralizing all the local Comiccon events in the same app if that’s your goal.

### 1/5 — Privacy and general conditions mising

*2025-06-30*

When creating an account, it is impossible to see what you are signing up for. There is no description anywhere of the privacy and general conditions. Not in the app when signing up, not on the dev website and not in the appstore. The version without signing into an account does not allow the creation of your own schedule. Last years app was way better.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Awefull experience

*2026-07-04*

Most Functionality don’t work properly. Almost better to use the paper version and the website.

### 1/5 — The schedule tool isn’t even working!

*2026-06-19*

The app is so buggy that you cannot even open a account to planify your schedule! I tried two times to open a account on two different emails.

When I was on the step to verify my email, the app kick me out of my account and the link that the app send via email to confirm it need me to stay inside of my account… The app keeps saying that my new freshly account was desactivated when it wasn’t even active at all!!!

Would love to use the schedule maker, but I will stick with the website and a excel sheet. The app share literally the same information that you can find on the Comic Con of Montreal app…

### 1/5 — Literally unusable

*2026-04-04*

Why make an app that doesn’t even support basic user setup? Creating an account isn’t possible, password fields glitch out and soft lock the user.

### 1/5 — Slow

*2025-10-20*

The app returns to the top of the menu if you click into an event/guest/exhibitor and is super slow

### 1/5 — Have you used your own app???

*2025-10-10*

Pages load halfway, for example, I try to load the schedule, but it won’t load the PM, only the AM. I try again, I only see the pm. I try again, now it is the whole day. Very frustrating. Also, i clic on an event or artist, then clic back to the list and get back to the beginning of the list. Have to scroll back to where I was, but surprise, the first bug happens again and I can’t get to where I was, because the list of events and artists won’t load completely. Using iPhone 13 Pro with latest iOS. The app is pure junk with those bugs.

### 1/5 — This years edition is a bad

*2025-09-06*

No ability to check what you want to see. Does not hide events that occurred in the past shows 253 pm still has 9 am upcoming events the toggle between showing past events and future events does not work. Disappointed in this years app

### 1/5 — Missing functions

*2025-09-03*

The app is nothing more than an event list now. The most useful part of the app is now gone. You can no longer use the app to plan your visit and get notifications for upcoming events. Pretty useless now.

### 1/5 — New app is horrible

*2025-07-28*

The « new » app made looking for events horrible. It stripped all the useful fonctions of the previous years and made it less convenient to use than the paper version.

### 1/5 — Useless

*2025-07-05*

Impossible to save a list of events. Don’t use it.

### 1/5 — L'autre appli était meilleure

*2025-07-04*

Il est impossible de sauvegarder les activités qui nous intéresse et créer notre propre horaire. Ça rend l'appli inutile car il faut toujours chercher dans toutes les activités. Ausdi, je n'ai jamais été capable de me créer un compte.

## Most praised reviews (4 highest-rated)

### 3/5 — Navigation

*2025-07-01*

### 3/5 — Correct

*2025-06-26*

Would be better if we could put events in a favourite list or something.

### 2/5 — :/

*2026-03-25*

Very glitchy, I have to open and close the app several times to get it to load the feature I want to access and it’s often the screen just won’t click.

### 2/5 — Pretty useless without option to bookmark

*2025-07-01*

So first off, I think having redesigned you app to get a dingle app gor all your events is a good idea… That being said, you removed the single functionality that made the previous app useful which was to mark the events you wanted yo go to and get reminders… without that option, you can just go on the website and get the exact same info without having to install the app
