I use it as they interface with my LCS for my pull list and orders, but it’s definitely not easy to use the search features, and the whole interface is not very intuitive. Once you struggle though it enough, you find ways to get through it, but there is a lot of room for improvement here. ### 2/5 — Time For A New Update *2025-05-28* I downloaded the app to support my LCS, but wow this app is hella slow. And when it does work, 9 out of 10 times the app doesn’t have the issues I’m looking for or their variants- even though the preorder window for these issues already opened. The only saving grace is I’m able to actually submit an order with no issues. If there was a better alternative, I would use that cuz this is way too slow and lacks a lot of preorder content. ### 2/5 — Great idea, bad app *2025-04-01* I love ComicHub and use the (acceptable) website when I can, but this app is just buggy and frustrating. The app got a bit of an overhaul with a recent update - this fixed some issues, but created others, especially when it comes to searching. Fixed the three letter search glitch only to make the search function disappear. Now you look at a book and it grays out the ability to add it to your cart. For the love of rice TEST YOUR APP BEFORE PUBLISHING IT ### 1/5 — Love comics, hate the app *2024-12-15* Gotta be one of the worst apps out there. Like get it together. We live in an age with unlimited resources to have a developer create an awesome, easy to use app with no bugs and I can’t even pay for my stuff right now so that I can pay my LCS through the app. Not to mention the search is super complicated… I just wanna search for a comic without having to think if it’s coming out this week, next week, or already in store. Someone please help this company do business right. It’s 2024 get your app together. ### 1/5 — :( *2024-12-09, version 2.1.4* Why did they take way the search function? As it is, this app is passably functional, at best. I can’t go to back to log in or anything else it just loads forever and ever. I left my phone plugged in with the screen on for an hour just to see what would happen. Just cycles on that page. (I deleted and reinstalled the app a few times) Also, unfortunately there has been no response from support. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Trash *2026-05-30* This App is about as terrible as it gets. Searches do not populate any results, even though the comic is available to order. Scrolling through the previews and other comics lists refreshes automatically causing a glitch. When it refreshes it takes you back up to the top of the search/list. This makes it impossible to view all of the titles past the letter C and below. The section for Wed Releases stays the same with the old titles from months ago still in the list. For any comic shop owner wanting to spend money on this, please go with a better App. This one is absolute garbage, It’s not user friendly and sadly it will cost you money because customers can’t order the comics they are looking for. ### 1/5 — This has got to be one of the worst shopping UIs I’ve ever used *2026-05-16, version 2.1.6* Every time I open this I get extremely frustrated by how ridiculous the design is. Why is searching SO difficult? It’s like whoever designed this wants to make sure no one ever finds what they want. ### 1/5 — Terrible *2026-02-10, version 2.1.5* Sad that it’s this bad and so hard to use. My local shop uses this, idk if there aren’t other options or what but I’d rather just set up a traditional pull list ### 1/5 — Very poor experience. Went to different shop to avoid using this. *2025-12-07* This app is just not easy to use. My previous comic shop utilized a different service that was stellar. This experience is a downgrade in every way CG. The toolbar colors in this app hurt my eyes. There doesn’t seem to be anyway to easily search without first choosing an arbitrary time category (aside? Or sub choices of coming soon). You have to make saved searches to find what you want, sometimes many saved searches. Finding variants is a chore… I haven’t figure out how to subscribe to a comic series… do I seriously have to search and select each month for some reason. I hope I’m just misunderstanding this app, but for now I Ended up shopping at a different and further comic book shop so I wouldn’t need to open this again. I hope they improve ### 1/5 — Somehow worse with each update. *2025-10-24* I’ve become really reliant on Comic Hub and it’s mostly been able to do what I need it to do after figuring out its quirks (which are myriad), but every update seems to return old problems and create new ones. Now they will only allow you to search by titles as they come up on a pulldown menu as you type. If you have a two word title, Black Cat for example, you can type “black” and a menu pops down with everything with the word black in it plus author names even if they’re just close (Blair?). But the second you start to type “Cat” it will go blank and won’t produce search results. The saved searches are working better, but they are only useful if the “brand” (title) you want is included on their list (so no miniseries or many indie characters and even some big 2). I don’t know why they make this so difficult. ### 1/5 — Interface $uckz *2025-09-12, version 2.1.5* The search engine is bad bad and every time I subscribe to a series it kicks me out. ### 1/5 — Virtually unusable after update *2025-07-12* I’ve become really reliant on Comic Hub and it’s mostly been able to do what I need it to do after figuring out its quirks (which are myriad), but every update seems to return old problems and create new ones. Personalized saved searches (a great idea) have a weird quirk of not actually listing everything available (I’ve had an issue that Catwoman will only return graphic novels but not singles), but they will all show up in a search. On the recent update there are titles that won’t come up in a search which I know exist because I already have them in my orders. This update is actively preventing me from ordering, and it’s pretty unfortunate for the store I go to because it’s how I manage to line up months of future purchases. ### 1/5 — Good idea bad execution *2025-05-26, version 2.1.4* Love the idea of the app but its performance is very poor. I can log in on my iPhone yet when I try to pre-order the app kicks me out. I try to log in on my MacBook my password is incorrect. It always crashes or resets when trying to go back to the comics list. Sadly now it doesn’t do that and sometimes I feel like I’m not getting what I paid for. ### 3/5 — Convenient but janky *2023-09-16* Love the convenience of being able to order and pre order from my local comic book store at any time from the palm of my hand. Hate that previous purchases stay stuck in my cart. I have to manually delete them out of cart every time before I can place any new orders. ### 3/5 — It was good *2023-06-12* I loved how this app would send you a detailed pictures of what you paid for to your email as a receipt. Sadly now it doesn’t do that and sometimes I feel like I’m not getting what I paid for. ### 3/5 — Good app but could be great *2023-01-13, version 2.0.3* I was this app constantly and honestly in my Top 5 apps that I use. Love how I can search for my comics when I get a quick break from life, work and other things. Only thing I have issues with is that when I delete something from my cart and purchase what I want it really never goes away. I’ll come back to my cart and what I thought was deleted is still there. It also doesn’t give me the option to delete an ongoing order. For instance I find B covers better than A covers.
