### 3/5 — Log in fail

*2020-04-12, version 1.9.4*

I don’t usually leave feedback but there’s no way to contact developer. Issue is I tried logging in with my existing Tesla username and password and this app does not recognize it nor does it give me an option to setup a new account, it just gives me two fields to enter, they are ‘email’ and password’.
UPDATE: I was contacted by a team member of this app two days after this comment/feedback and the issue has been since corrected.
The app works well, just wish they would add more Siri commands soon !

### 3/5 — Needs home link and charge port unlock

*2019-11-09, version 1.9.4*

It would be so much better with charge port unlock and homelink buttons. So close! I actually use it tho. That’s kinda cool.

### 2/5 — Good initial effort

*2019-02-24, version 1.0*

I’ve been looking for an app that I can use on my watch and phone. This is a good start but rough around edges. For example I don’t need to see temperatures to 8 decimal places. The biggest disappointment for me is that it doesn’t use Bluetooth so everything goes to Teslas server then to the car. If your car is on power save and you ask to unlock it, you have to wait while the car wakes up.

**Developer response:** Thank you for pointing that out. However, direct communication over Bluetooth between third party apps and the vehicle is not an option yet. I will update the app as soon as it becomes available. About the decimal places, I make sure to place a fix for it in the next release. Thank you again for sharing your opinion.

### 1/5 — Watch app doesn’t work

*2021-04-10, version 2020.3*

Watch app never connects to car. At first support was responsive, but after asking me to join the beta (which I did) they stopped responding. Watch app still not working. Went back to the production release and still no connection. Phone app works fine but it is not the reason I bought this app. Stay away.

**Developer response:** Hi there,
Sorry for the issue you experienced with the Watch app.
Please update to the latest version of the app which has fixed the problem.
Thank you

### 1/5 — Quit working

*2019-10-03, version 1.9*

Completely quit working after the latest Tesla update 2019.32.11. App won’t even load. There is no contact info for developer.

### 1/5 — Used to be good. Now crashes

*2019-10-03, version 1.9*

The latest release killed this good little app. Now it won’t open on either iPhone or Watch. It starts to open, but within a second closes itself. I never see any control screen.

**Developer response:** Hi there,

Thank you for your feedback, it was a great help for us to identify the issue and fix it.
This issue is now fixed in the latest version of the app (v1.9.3).

### 1/5 — Apple Watch Siri Command Not Working

*2019-09-28, version 1.9*

Hi - I have been using this app for several months now. Had been working fine. Not sure if the issue is due to the new version release. I can’t open the app on my Apple Watch nor my iPhone X. The image appears for a second and then crashes. Please help. Not sure where to log the issue on the app because I can’t access the app.

**Developer response:** Hi there,

Thank you for your feedback, it was a great help for us to identify the issue and fix it.
This issue is now fixed in the latest version of the app (v1.9.3).

### 1/5 — My Tesla Credentials to 3rd Party??

*2019-09-07, version 1.5*

I’m a cyber security engineer and was excited about trying out this app to augment Siri commands from my Apple Watch, which the Tesla app currently doesn’t support. However once I opened up the app after paying my $4.99, the very first step was being promoted to login with my Tesla credentials. This is a violation of my personal informational security standards. By giving up my personal credentials, effectively the app developer can have access to all users Tesla credentials and do whatever they want with them. I’m sorry to say I will be getting a refund via Apple, and still search for an app that doesn’t compromise my personal security and ask for my login credentials.

**Developer response:** Thank you for trying out the app. As we stated in app description, we will never save your credentials anywhere, we just use them to get access token from Tesla to be able to communicate with your car through Tesla’s api, otherwise there’s no way to get you connected to your Tesla.
We’re sorry this wasn’t what you were looking for, however there will be no other apps for Tesla that you can use to communicate with your car without using your Tesla credentials.

### 1/5 — Can’t Open

*2019-04-14, version 1.3*

After purchase, it asks to sign on using my email and password. Problem is, it doesn’t give you a way to set one up! Refund, please.

### 1/5 — Can’t open app! Can’t tell if itworks

*2019-03-22, version 1.1*

Can’t log in at login screen...don’t know the password!

### 2/5 — Slow connection

*2019-11-28, version 1.9.4*

Good looking app, but phone connection slow and Apple Watch 3 very slow connection and almost unusable. Fixing connection issues would make it a 5 star.

**Developer response:** Hello,

I’m sorry hearing you have problem with connecting watch app. Please use Contact option from the iPhone app for more support.

Thank you!

### 2/5 — Cannot access with watch

*2019-09-24, version 1.8*

I cannot access the app on my Apple Watch three. When I touch the icon a connecting image appears for a couple of seconds and then the watch face returns. I tried deleting the app and down loading it again but there was no change. The app works fine on my iPhone 7, but I bought it so I could use the Apple Watch. Can you help me?l

**Developer response:** Hi there,

Thank you for your feedback, it was a great help for us to identify the issue and fix it.
This issue is now fixed in the latest version of the app (v1.9.3).

### 2/5 — Very buggy

*2019-03-18, version 1.1*

Great potential but very buggy. (1)Temp control ranges from 76 to 84 F. I would like to be able to specify a temp below 76. Siri commands are spotty. I originally got this to be able to control my tesla from my Apple Watch and the Siri commands appear to work 50% of the time.

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately your website linked in the App Store under developer support is broken and doesn’t allow one to contact the developer without writing a review.

As for the temp issue, I have no issue controlling it via the Tesla app. It’s only the command app that is broken. I suspect you are converting from c to f which is why the wacky units (two decimal places with non integer increment decrement). Also, I don’t follow your comment about app sleeping. Let me know if you would like additional beta testing feedback

**Developer response:** Thank you for checking out the app.
The temperature limits are set by Tesla and unfortunately we can’t control the Hi and Low limits.
About the commands, sometimes when your vehicle is asleep or is not connected to internet, Command tries to wake up the vehicle but because the time that your watch or your phone provide for each siri command to execute is limited, it cannot do both wake up and the actual command at the same time, so you have to run the shortcut agin after some moments when your car is awake.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Best Tesla app

*2021-05-19, version 2021.1*

Clean interface, great widget, Apple Watch app, & Siri integration. This app is a great value! The developer is also very quick to respond.

### 5/5 — I 😍 the widgets

*2020-12-10, version 2020.3*

This app needs much more 5-star reviews! The iOS 14 widget is a beauty, thank you so much for developing it this fast! With this widget, this Commands App is the fastest way to control my car. I love the Siri integration, but that’s a bit slower.
I think you could add an option for a $10 annual subscription for this who want to support the app. I would definitely buy that!

### 5/5 — Great app!

*2020-05-14, version 2020.1*

I use this app on my iPhone, iPad & Apple Watch. Really like it. Developer is very open to suggestions & responsive. That always goes a long way for me.

### 5/5 — Great Tesla app for Apple Watch

*2019-02-25, version 1.0*

I like the simplicity of the design, I can find every essential control I need to send commands to my Model 3 in one place. The Apple Watch app is designed nicely, I like how I can control the climate in my Model 3 on my Apple Watch. Siri shortcuts work very well, I can’t stop using them.

### 5/5 — Nice app

*2019-02-25, version 1.0*

Great design, very easy to navigate. I like the way I can add shortcuts inside the app. Apple Watch app is very useful and clean.

### 5/5 — Excellent application

*2019-02-24, version 1.0*

I have been looking for an application like this to setup voice commands for my Model S.
Thank you

### 5/5 — Cream of the crop

*2019-02-24, version 1.0*

I have a ton of various 3rd party Tesla apps, and the interface on this is by far the simplest, and has the best Siri implementation of any. Very easy to add Siri commands. The watch app is very clear and direct. I hope the developer adds a complication for the Apple Watch 4 that takes advantage of the corner, showing range. Well worth the price. Thank you!

**Developer response:** Thank you so much for your kind comment. I’m glad you liked the app. The watch app currently has complications as a shortcut for opening the app on watch. However, adding complications to show some information about the vehicle is on top of the list for next release.
Thank you again for your support.

### 4/5 — Needs some polish but good features

*2020-12-30, version 2020.3*

The is the most feature filled Tesla app available. The support for Widgets, Siri Commands, Apple Watch (buggy?) along with all the other Tesla basics covered and then some.

I wanted Tesla Watch apps to be a thing but the only app I’ve found with support is this app but I can’t get it to connect.

Overall keep up the great work and I would definitely pay a moderately priced subscription to keep supporting development of the app. I’d love some UI polish.

### 4/5 — Doesn’t work

*2020-06-01, version 2020.1*

Edited: Contacted support and they offered a few easy instructions to get the app on my watch functional. Customer service is everything - so thank you for your timely responses.

I downloaded the app to be able to use through my Apple Watch. But my watch continuously says “please open commands iPhone app to continue”. I am logged in - app on phone seems fine. I’ve tried deleting the commands app from my watch and re-adding it. No dice. Wish I hadn’t purchased - would recommend not to buy this app.

**Developer response:** We’re sorry to hear you have difficulties with Apple Watch app.
Please email us at commands4t@gmail.com and we will help you to solve this issue.
Thank you

### 4/5 — Nice app

*2019-11-11, version 1.9.4*

I have had no issues with this app except signing back into it. I emailed the developer and he responded immediately. Very impressed. He obviously cares for his work and people using it.
