They worked with the app for 1 day. The app loses connectivity every time the lamp is switched off, requiring a reset to add it again. I’d like to have this app going on multiple devices, but the share profile zip file is password protected and it’s not my password, no telling what it is. I gave it one star since it won’t let you write a review unless you tap a star. Do yourself a favor, look at other brands. Wink has had an outage for the last 7 day (thats another story) so I decided to disconnect the lights from the Wink hub. I downloaded this app to control my lights. I cannot get this app to scan for my lights. When I click the button to scan, nothing happens. Not sure if I’m doing it correctly BECAUSE THERE IS NO HELP INFO. There are 4 Q&A but information is limited. Also, they dont provide any contact info to help me. ### 1/5 — Do not buy these lights! *2021-01-30, version 2.4.4* These lights and software are complete junk. It’s really too bad zero star reviews aren’t an option. There’s no way any of the positive reviews are legit. 1) Software crashes while trying to update light’s firmware. Every time. 2) IF you can sync the lights, they will ultimately disconnect and you will not be able to reconnect them. 3) Group names will randomly go from the name you select to generic name like group_3. 4) IF you can find or contact to your lights and are able to add them to a group, they randomly unsync and you will not be able to control them. 5) Lights regularly drop out of sync. You will get a message that they are out of range even when you hold your phone inches away. 6) IF you can get the app to sync, it rarely sees all the lights (as in you delete all the lights and start over info a futile attempt to get everything to work together). It’s more likely that you will see few to few to none of them. Pressing the sync button, nothing happens. 7) All of this happens even after going through the reset process, deleting all lights and groups then restarting, and deleting and reinstalling the software. Save yourself time,$$$, and Frustration... go with Hue Sync by Philips. ### 1/5 — Please update the App *2020-12-31, version 2.4.4* Bought 7 lights at HD they looked great for the first day then individual light lost connection and will not reconnect. When I attempt the update the app crashes before completing... every single time. Do not use a dimmer) Got 8 lights installed lights look great but the app seems to work for a few min then loses connection with the lights so started over the process. It works great for a few min and same problem can not maintain connection very frustrating. Tried it on a few devices same problem. I did not want to return them as it took so much time to get them installed. Then one day I had a idea is to remove them of the dimmer and put them on a regular switch and solved the problem of them loosing connection. I think the quick dimmer wave is like on off on off ... and that resets the lights. I still think the app is very basic and lacks any help some functions like the update are unclear a way to mix your own color would be nice and a good help section. ### 4/5 — I want a fish rave too! *2020-01-05, version 2.4.4* This is really cool, I just wish it had a preset where it went through all the colors, ya know like for a party. Why have all these colors if you can’t even make the lights go through different colors. I literally have a fish tank light that can do that (#fishrave).
