## What is Commitr?

Life is full of commitments — and not all of them are subscriptions. Commitr is a personal commitment tracker that helps you stay on top of everything you've taken on: from phone contracts and insurance policies to fitness goals, citizenship applications, loan repayments, and personal development milestones.

**What you can track:**
- **Financial commitments** — subscriptions, warranties, insurance, vehicle registrations, utility accounts, loans, phone contracts, and savings goals
- **Personal goals** — weight loss or fitness training, skill development, certifications (e.g. black belt), learning a language, or completing a course
- **Life admin** — citizenship or visa applications, legal contracts, government deadlines, and any multi-step process with a target or end date

**Key Features:**
- **Flexible commitment types** — 12 built-in types, plus fully customisable types you create yourself
- **Progress tracking** — set a target value, log your current progress, and watch a visual progress bar update over time (e.g. 50 kg → 75 kg saved, 0 → 100 training hours)
- **Check-in log** — record dated notes and milestone values over the life of a commitment, building a personal history of your journey
- **Smart reminders** — one-off reminders before an end date, or recurring daily/weekly check-in reminders to keep you accountable
- **Upcoming deadlines** — a consolidated view of everything expiring or due soon, regardless of type
- **Insights dashboard** — financial spend breakdown by type, billing cycle and trend, plus a goals progress panel and upcoming non-financial deadlines
- **Privacy & security** — lock sensitive commitments behind biometric authentication; all data stays on your device
- **Attachments** — attach receipts, contracts, certificates, or any relevant file directly to a commitment
- **Custom fields** — add any extra data fields to a commitment that the built-in fields don't cover

Whether you're managing your monthly outgoings or tracking the journey to your black belt, Commitr gives you one place to stay organised and accountable.
