## What is Committee Boat HQ?

Committee Boat HQ — Sailboat Racing, Reimagined

Committee Boat HQ puts an entire race committee in your pocket. Whether you're running the start line or lining up for the gun, everyone races on the same clock. The host triggers one start sequence and the countdown and horns fire simultaneously across every sailor's iPhone and Apple Watch — same signals, same second, every time. No more straining to hear a distant horn or guessing when the flag dropped.

SYNCHRONIZED STARTS
One start, every device in sync. Committee Boat HQ keeps every boat's countdown locked to the host's sequence, so the whole fleet starts fair and together. Full support for standard start sequences and penalty flags, right down to the final horn.

PRACTICE RACES
Sharpen your starts between regattas. Spin up a practice race in seconds to drill your timing, boat handling, and line approach — solo or with a few friends — using the same synced start sequence and live tracking as the real thing. Hone your skills so you're dialed in when it counts.

LIVE FLEET TRACKING
Watch the race unfold on a live map. See the course, the marks, and every registered boat's position in real time, from the committee boat or from the rail. Follow the leaderboard as it updates throughout the race.

RUN THE RACE FROM ANYWHERE
Hosts get full race committee control: schedule races, set the course and marks, manage the start, and make on-the-water calls. Log penalties for any boat — OCS, 360, 720, time penalties, or DSQ — and mark rounding and finishes as they happen. Everything the fleet needs to know, pushed instantly.

INSTANT PHRF SCORING
No spreadsheets, no post-race math. Committee Boat HQ scores your race automatically using PHRF handicaps — Time-on-Time and Time-on-Distance — and factors in penalties for corrected results the moment the last boat finishes.

APPLE WATCH BUILT IN
Keep your hands on the sheets. The countdown, heads-up display, navigation, and live leaderboard all come to your wrist, so you can sail the start instead of staring at your phone.

FIND YOUR NEXT RACE
Discover races happening near you with a location-aware feed, search by name or place, and set your own radius. Host public races that anyone can find and join, or keep it private with a join-code — still easy to share, invitation only.

TRACK YOUR SEASON
Every race adds to your career. Review your results and achievements over time and toggle by season to see how you're sailing.

SHARE A RACE IN ONE TAP
Send a race invite as a link. Sailors tap it, the app opens right to your race, and the join code fills itself in — registered in seconds.

Whether you're a race committee volunteer, a club fleet captain, or a sailor chasing your next start, Committee Boat HQ brings your whole race — from the first warning signal to the final corrected result — into one app.

Rig up, sync up, and start together.
