## What is Community Musician?

Community Musician is where you own the music instead of renting it, back the
artists making it, and book the rooms where it gets made.

OWN WHAT YOU LISTEN TO
Tap a Community Musician card against your phone and the record it carries is
yours — permanently, in your Collection. No subscription, no expiry. Don't have
the card? Unlock a release directly with Lute instead. Haven't done either? Every
track still plays as a 30-second preview, so you always hear it before you decide.

A PLAYER BUILT FOR RECORDS
A full queue you can reorder and trim. Shuffle. Repeat one or repeat all. Scrub
across a waveform. Background playback that keeps going when you leave the app
and picks up where you left off on next launch. Time-synced lyrics that scroll
with the song wherever the artist has provided them.

BACK THE ARTISTS YOU LISTEN TO
Support an artist at a tier they set, paid from your Lute wallet. Watch their
goal fill in real numbers rather than a vague percentage. Artists see exactly who
is backing them and at what tier, and you can step up, step down, pause or stop
whenever you want.

BOOK REAL ROOMS
Browse partner studios on a map or a list, with galleries, opening days, per-room
rates, capacity and dimensions. Reserve a rehearsal or recording room by the
month — one month or several at once. Rooms already taken show you the date they
free up, and on rooms that offer it you can join a waitlist and get notified the
moment a slot opens.

SPLIT IT WITH THE BAND
Book a room and divide the cost with your bandmates. Split it evenly or set each
person's share yourself. Everyone gets their own invite and pays their own part
from their own wallet, and you can see who has paid and who hasn't.

A WALLET THAT SHOWS ITS WORK
Lute is the in-app currency for cards, unlocks, support and rooms. Top up with a
preset pack or any custom amount. Every movement lands in a filterable, sortable
ledger — top-ups, support, studio spend, refunds — and every booking carries a
per-month receipt, so you can always see what was charged and when.

IF YOU MAKE THE MUSIC
Build an artist page as a solo artist or a band, with a bio, members, photos and
posts. Publish a single, EP or album: upload the audio, add cover art, paste
timed lyrics, and optionally mint a collectible card at a price you choose. Set
your own support tiers and a monthly goal.

IF YOU RUN A STUDIO
List your studio with a gallery, opening days and a team directory. Add rooms
with rates, capacity, dimensions and photos. Turn a waitlist on per room and see

The search feature does not work, nor does a QR code to a live stream from a band’s card I purchased. Paid $20 and unable to access what was marketed to me. Please work on these issues.
