No relevant errors to go on, just "check your credentials and try again".  The same credentials work on the Edge app and direct login to the web console.

It logs in. It displays event log pane. Everything else stays blank. Then in a few minutes... the app excuses itself and leaves - aka "blows up." Tried the usual reload, restart, etc.

I just killed a job that was running for days by clicking the x in the top right corner.  At least put in a confirmation or something.

OK if you want to quickly look at the status of backup jobs, however lacks a lot of functionality, interface is difficult to navigate and requires a lot of development to make this any good. App also crashes randomally when clicking through menus.

Just downloaded latest version and app now crashes when logging in.
When running, it's a great app though

I would make this a five star but this new version (unlike the old one) does not show restore jobs or report jobs.  So if someome runs a restore, it suspends the backups.  But if you are the admin and you are checking on backups, you will see they are not running and wonder why.  Severly limits its usefulness.

This app goes nicely along with the NetApp app (as per remote functionality), but what it needs is a barcode scanner and integrate that into storage resources tape management so you can update tape locations on the fly!

This is app is awesome for so many reasons, but the main reason is that i dont have to vpn into work to check my jobs, ive used CV mobile and this app compared to the other shows the data in a neat and uncluttered way, and it has graphs which i think is really cool :-) 
My advise to anyone CommVault, setup a web search server and use the app, its well worth it.
The power to control jobs from my phone, awesome...
