Best places to store all project photos, videos, notes & info all in one place. Can’t tell you how many times it’s saved our tails having a hub of before & after photos we can use to support our findings (especially if it’s damage related). Great resource to revisit for job costing, training, etc. (upload times are a little long at times, but better if you take the footage in the app). Overall can hardly complain with how great this app is for most everything. ### 5/5 — From First Walkthrough to Final Punch: CompanyCam Has Become Essential *2026-07-13, version 10.0.38* CompanyCam has become one of the core tools we use to manage our projects from the first site visit through final completion. What started as a way to organize photos has evolved into a complete project documentation system. Every member of the crew can capture photos in the field, and everything is automatically organized by project and timeline. That has virtually eliminated the endless searching through camera rolls or trying to remember who took a particular photo. For estimating, CompanyCam gives us a reliable visual record of existing conditions that we can reference long after leaving the site. During construction, it provides a clear day-by-day history of progress, making it easy to communicate with homeowners, supervisors, subcontractors, and office staff. When questions come up weeks or months later, we can quickly pull up the exact stage of construction and see what was there before walls were closed up or finishes were installed. One of the biggest advantages has been accountability. Daily documentation has improved communication within our crews, reduced misunderstandings, and given us defensible records when discussing change orders, warranty concerns, or unexpected site conditions. It has become much easier to demonstrate the work that was performed and the reasons behind decisions made in the field. The checklist and task features have also helped standardize our processes. We use them to build repeatable workflows for inspections, quality control, project closeout, and specialty scopes. Having those procedures documented keeps projects more consistent regardless of which crew members are on site. As someone who manages exterior renovation projects, I also appreciate how quickly I can build homeowner reports using CompanyCam photos. The visual documentation makes reports more transparent and helps clients understand exactly what was found, what was repaired, and why. Overall, CompanyCam has saved us time, improved communication, strengthened our documentation, and made us more organized from the initial walkthrough all the way through project completion. The pictures are constantly oriented incorrectly. No matter how the phone is held the pictures will randomly be 90 deg or 180 deg off. We only use it in our shop and have multiple devices logged into the account. It is constantly logging people out. Just had a price increase and no increase in product quality. Was hoping for more from this app. ### 5/5 — Photographic memory *2026-06-23, version 10.0.32* This is hands down the best dispute resolution tool we have. Customers think we did or did not do something, we can show them a photo of what we did and protect ourselves. I highly recommend the app. ### 1/5 — Terrible GPS feature that destroys the reputation of an otherwise amazing service app. *2026-06-17* I was the one that pushed for us to use CompanyCam here at our company, and after MUCH advocating I was finally able to convince our board of VPs to invest in this application… I am now on the look out for a new platform with similar services. The GPS feature is TERRIBLE. It’s a bait and switch because it comes off as it will helpfully since it GPS tags a location and quickly comes up as you get near the project site… but it is LAUGHABLE how inaccurate it is. Often I stand right in front of the site and it gives me surrounding address across the road ONLY! Ridiculous. This would be an amazing, time saving feature if it worked. Also, this app limits the camera zoom capabilities… why? So odd. Also, when one takes a picture, a box slides up from the bottom of the camera view preventing you to fully see your next shot… again… why? **Developer response:** Hi, thanks for this feedback! Now the service has been down a week and I can’t assign my team to tasks, even if I upgrade to premium, tech support doesn’t take it serious and now I’ve got all My projects in this app and I still have to assign my team through text messages while I pay $220 a month. I feel like I’ve been lied to.
