Why doesn’t the compass point to North when I face North? I am facing due south and the compass is indicating west. I don’t see anyway to calibrate it.

**Developer response:** Sorry for the frustration! Compass accuracy can be thrown off by magnets or metal nearby — the latest version includes a built-in calibration prompt (move your phone in a slow figure-8) plus a North Reference toggle in Settings that might help. Let us know if it's still off after that.

### 1/5 — Why does this app show a town not even close to me?

I don't understand this app at all.  The needle points to a Town I cannot change.  What the heck was the developer thinking?  Deleting this now!

**Developer response:** Sorry for the confusion — the town name comes from a weather lookup based on your device's location, separate from the compass heading itself. We're looking into making that clearer. Feel free to reach out with more details through the app's support contact so we can dig in!

Why can’t I see the actual reviews for this app on the App Store? There is no link to see the reviews as on other app pages (See All). 
Why doesn’t the compass needle point to North when I face North?

Of 3 apps, this one showed East as being North until I installed another app and checked that the new one agreed with the other 2 apps on my other (android) device, then this app started showing North correctly. Not sure why there was a time gap for this app showing actual North.

**Developer response:** Thanks for the detailed feedback! We've made compass reliability improvements in the latest version (1.1.0), plus added a calibration prompt and a True/Magnetic North toggle in Settings if the heading ever looks off. Hope that helps!

I tried it and it works really well. This app has a compass. I don’t have some truth, but I love it within just a time I have this subject. Well, you know yeah that’s the truth. You could use your compass and turn your tablet around or iPhone within.
