It lags like hell. I have a iPad Air. It's not that old. Other compass apps don't lag on it. Rather use my old 2010 compass app that doesn't even have retina support. Doesn't even work in landscape. Luckily it was free. How I know: I took my Smart Cover off as it has magnets. Held iPad freehand 2m from any metal object. Tried using wi-fi, 4G and offline. New update is still trashy. It lags still on my iPad and I don't need it on my iPhone as the compass that came with my iPhone is 100x better. It will only show the black screen ( true north). I cannot find how to change to magnetic north. The reason I downloaded this app was for the magnetic north. This is no different than all the other compass apps.
