Tried unloading and reloading app, restarting computer, etc. I teach college classes in IT so I am computer literate. Customer service is useless, hate to think what happens if one would have an idenity breach problem and need their coutomer service. Absolutely would not recomment CompleteID for VPN, in my opinion. ### 1/5 — They’ve abandoned this app *2026-01-10, version 1.3* It doesn’t work, Complete ID doesn’t care. This VPN comes as part of the complete ID service. It used to work on my Intel computer, but just throws an error after activating. It’s very simple, and easy to use. ### 4/5 — Updating my review *2026-05-06, version 2.0.0* I had rated this is one star because it did not work after the iOS 26 update. They have now updated it to work and I must say I think it’s better than ever. Thank you! ### 4/5 — Clunky setup but free secure VPN! *2022-08-07, version 1.0* I have been using ExpressVPN across my iPhone and desktop computer- paying a monthly fee. It works great and the speeds are fantastic. However, I am a Complete ID customer via Costco so am testing this included service out and possibly will cancel my paid service. So far so good! The setup from the Complete ID website is clunky and the downloaded app is super basic, but so far functional. ### 3/5 — Free app but difficult to reactivate *2022-11-17, version 1.0* It connects fine to my server of choice. I assume it is encrypting my date. However after a period of time you must reactivate your access by logging into your CompleteID account. Asked to open the VPN app and enter an access code from the VPN app but there is none provided. However the VPN did work and connected. For a free app that others charge for I guess can’t expect much resources spent on it although I paid a monthly fee for CompleteID to monitor my credit and accounts. ### 2/5 — Worked alright on computer until new Sonoma OS *2024-03-26, version 1.10* I wish this was updated more regularly. As part of a whole subscription I used it often, but the lack of updates is frustrating. Even when using with my iPhone it was problematic- didn’t allow certain functions to operate.
