## What is ComposerDeck?

Stuck staring at a blank track? ComposerDeck deals you a random musical challenge: a chord, a scale, a tempo, a constraint, sometimes a MALUS. And you build something with it. Use it as a warm-up, a writing prompt, or a daily creative ritual.

Pull cards from a deck of hundreds of curated musical prompts. Filter by genre, difficulty and audience. Lock the cards you love, reshuffle the rest. Bookmark favorites for later. The MALUS deck adds forbidden techniques that force you to think sideways.

— BUILD YOUR OWN DECKS —
New in 2.5. Curate up to 20 decks of your favorite cards (up to 100 each), mixing catalogue prompts with your own approved creations. Share a deck with a single link: your students, your audience or your bandmates load it in one tap and draw from it. Go 100% deck, or blend deck cards with the regular engine.

— SHARE YOUR TAKE —
Every draw gets a permanent ID. Upload your audio interpretation (or paste a SoundCloud / YouTube / Spotify / Vimeo link) and other producers can listen, react and compare their take on the same prompt. Submissions feed into a community Audio Bank you can browse by Hot / New / Top / Following / Friends.

Drawing a card now has a sound. Check out the 9 custom sounds, wired into the gestures you already use, with haptics.
THANKS TO MARK HURYNOVICH for producing those sounds. No IA involved.

The existing sound toggle at the top mutes them.

FIXED

Card creation had been broken since early July. It works again, on the contribute page and in the deck editor.

PRIVACY AND SAFETY

- Deleting your account now deletes the account, not only the data
- Hidden and rejected submissions can no longer be opened by link
- Card submissions need a real signed-in author, so no forged names
- YouTube links are checked before they go public
- Visitor IP addresses are hashed, and public counters are rate limited

The community feed and submission pages have been redesigned for iPhone and iPad. 
Browse tracks, open a take, and read the draw behind it without horizontal scrolling or clipped layouts.

- Tap "Submissions" at the top to go back to the feed in one gesture

### 1.2 — 2025-11-26

Fixed an issue affecting all login and sign-up input fields. The keyboard no longer covers the form, and the view now adjusts correctly so every field stays accessible, even when switching between them.
