## What is Compound?

Stop guessing in the gym. Compound builds your strength training plan and picks the weight for every set, then shows your strength climbing from Iron to Olympian. Hit two food numbers, calories and protein, by snapping a photo of your plate.

Compound is for people who are tired of guessing. Tired of starting a program and dropping it in week three. Tired of lifting for months with no idea whether you're getting stronger. Tired of putting in the work and not seeing your body change.

What you get

- A plan that decides for you. Four movements, squat, hinge, push and pull, sized to the days you can actually train. Open the app and today's workout is ready, weights included.
- Strength you can see. Every session is a step up the map, and the sets you log earn your rank on the lifts you already do, from Iron to Olympian.
- Two numbers for food: a calorie target and a protein target. Snap a photo of your plate to log it. On a GLP-1, your protein target is set higher to help protect muscle.
- The people you train with. Share your workouts and meals with your friends, and see what they're lifting and eating. Private by default.

What you don't get

A 40-exercise menu, macros of macros, or a program you have to design yourself.

Built for the body you want

Anyone who wants to build the physique they've been picturing, without turning it into a second job. No splits to design, no spreadsheets, no week spent deciding. Show up, lift what the plan says, hit your two numbers, and watch your strength climb.

Try Compound Pro free for a week. Cancel anytime.

Stop guessing. Start climbing.

### 5/5 — Thank you Hieu

I feel stronger

### 5/5 — A Must Try!

*2026-09-26*

Wow, I love this app! From workout schedules to reminders to calorie counts, it’s amazing. I can modify my workouts anytime and track them. The best features are the food scanning showing detailed ingredients, nutrients & calories that may be jaw dropping, and the social networking with friends and families. It’s helped me track glutinous foods I’ve tried sooo hard to minimize; delicious cakes I call “sinful”; and everything in between. For someone over 50 years old to be able to use this program and its unique features and loving it, I recommend everyone reading this should absolutely give it a try.

### 5/5 — Would truly give it another star if I could!

*2026-08-20*

I really love the way this app has everything I need to achieve my goals. I have been using it consistently this month to track my food intake, track my workout progress, and learn more about my habits as I reach my goals. I’ve always struggled with body image and unhealthy eating habits but having this to put it all into perspective and follow a routine that works for me is really cool. I also love the social aspect, seeing that other people are on the same boat as me and also have good and bad days is motivating and really feels like i’m not alone in this and everyone is on their own journey.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 2.0.2 — 2026-10-23

Strength ranks and the map.

Your lifts now earn ranks, from Iron to Olympian, and the sets you've already logged count.

Ranks and the map

- 18 lifts are ranked, and squat, hinge, push and pull each keep their own rank.
- Your program is a map now: each session is a step, each rank is a gate, and the plan moves you up level by level.
- The rank strip in your workout shows the set that earns a rank. Then Finish plays your session on the map, and the rank-up.
- All your ranks in one place, any time, and a card to share a rank-up.

New in this update

- Jump here: your next rank gate is now a session you can start, with the weights that clear it.
- Re-rank a lift from its map any time to see where you stand.
- Post a before and after from your progress photos, and compare any two side by side.

### 1.2.0 — 2026-08-31

Your workout, live on your Lock Screen.

- Live workout on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island: current set, rest countdown, and a clear go when it's time to lift.
- A share carousel when you finish, and add a photo and a caption to a workout or a meal straight from the finish screen.

Your plan

- Shorten or extend your current block from the program overview, and the week strip follows.
- Swap a whole movement pattern from any exercise in it, and tap a chart on the program overview to open that exercise's dashboard.
- Change a workout's color any time, not just when you create it. And picking your variations is clearer if you're new to lifting.

Train together

- Co-author a workout with a friend and each log your own numbers.
- Save a friend's workout straight from their post.
- Post cards, redesigned: a set-by-set breakdown on workouts, a macro hero on meals, swipe for ingredients, tap to zoom photos.

Meals

- Custom foods: create your own foods, save quick-adds to My foods, swipe to edit or delete them.
- Better matches for branded and restaurant meals. The scan now reads the whole menu, not just the item name.
- "Add photo" on a meal opens the camera directly.

Also: swipe to delete ingredients, workouts, and completed sessions; logging a workout from the button confirms with a toast; exercise pills on the 1RM chart slide so long names aren't cut off; Pro (including lifetime) is reachable from Settings; and a long list of fixes.

Four movements. Two numbers.

### 1.1.0 — 2026-08-11

Widgets, five languages, and a finish worth showing up for.

Widgets
Ten of them, across the Home Screen and Lock Screen. Calorie and protein gauges, today's session, your week at a glance, and a streak flame that picks up more sparkle at milestones. Lock Screen launchers put a meal scan, a barcode, or your next workout one tap from a locked phone.

Five languages
English, Spanish, Portuguese, German, and French. Dates, numbers, and notifications follow your language too, not just the buttons. Switch anytime in Settings.

Finishing a workout
Now two beats instead of one form. First the moment: the streak you just extended, where your block stands, what you earned. Then the ask: how did it feel. Progression shows up the instant you unlock it.

Workout
Warm-up sets from the card footer, ramp already computed.
Start button on the session hero, no scrolling to find it.
Exercise dashboards on the workout screen.

Nutrition
Swipe left on Home to delete a logged food, scan, or barcode.
Number pads respond on touch, and select-all does what it says.

Social
Handles are assigned when you join, so there is nothing to invent. Social now opens on people to follow.

Fixes
Crash when finishing a session.
Keyboard covering the notes field on session detail.
Subscription state after a promo grant.
Age not saving from the body stats editor.
Empty macro chips showing no cursor.
A skipped baseline reappearing after sync.
