Every time I open it, it closes! ### 2/5 — Nice looking but not what I wanted *2010-08-21, version 0* I didn't look at this app very well before purchasing it. I thought with the amortization table it would calculated loan payments. It looks nice but what it does is very simplistic and could easily done in an excel spreadsheet. The same can be said of calculatng payments but I wanted something I could do when my computer wasn't available. ### 4/5 — The best saving interest calculator tool *2011-12-13* So far it is the best saving interest calculator on app store. It would be great if you also add withdrawal function. Likewise deposit function, by adding withdrawal function it will make the Compoundee one of the most efficient tool for saving interest calculator **Developer response:** Thanks for the kind review. Please note that withdrawals are input by using a negative number in the Deposits field. For instance, to perform a calculation with periodic withdrawals of $50, a -50 can be entered into the Deposits field. ### 4/5 — Quick & Easy *2011-05-05* A great app for straight-forward calculations for investments and compound interest and mortgage repayments, etc. ### 4/5 — Performs well and looks good! *2008-10-18* A simple and effective interface that allows for the input of almost any variable you would need for simple financial calculations. Known bugs are spelled out on the developers website. Calculations are based on a 30/360 day convention, so calculations become less accurate with shorter compounding periods and/or longer duration. Inflation rate adjustment and bookmark features are a nice touch. An update that addresses the accuracy issue would make this a five star product. Probably one of the best first releases I've used to date, considering that this seems to be the first and only product from this developer. ### 5/5 — Great app *2025-10-28* Wonderful app and easy to use! But I’m afraid it has been abandoned. Makes one think about what am i spending money on now and what would i have if I invested it instead. Tells you how much is your actual cash versus the interest and what the future value will be worth after inflation. This one does. Very well formatted as well. ### 5/5 — Great for when you are in retirement too. *2020-01-26* I use this app as a retirement planner and I’m already in retirement. I put in an annual negative contribution and it tells me how long me money will last, considering the interest rate I am using. You can also put in inflation and/or taxes and get a result from those inputs. You don’t have to though. I have used this app for many years, both before retirement and after. It is the best. I like it much better than the software the PFP’s use.
