### 1/5 — garbage intentionally slow

*2026-01-01, version 1.3*

They slow down the video compression in order to encourage you to buy stuff.

I took my time to find an app that actually works, isn’t spyware and doesn’t try and charge you $1 million a yea. Kompresso seems all right it’s astounding to me that there’s no open source quality apps available. Plenty of that kind of stuff on the other platform competing with iOS.

### 5/5 — Really useful app

*2026-10-05, version 1.3*

I’ve been using this app to compress some of the bigger videos on my phone and it’s honestly helped a lot. I was running low on storage, and this saved me quite a bit of space without making the videos look noticeably worse.

It’s simple to use, doesn’t feel complicated, and does exactly what I need it to do. Definitely one of those apps I’m glad I found.

### 5/5 — Fixed my unsupported video

*2025-10-02, version 1.3*

I had a mov formatted video which showed as corrupted in other apps, none of them worked. Until this did. Thank you

### 5/5 — Awesome

I don’t know why no one used this, it has amazing UI and works as it says. It keeps my videos on my phone and private.
