If you do 3-4 practice exams, you’ll quickly start seeing repeat questions, and start losing value from the app. Additionally, the questions contain a lot of typos and other small issues. Plus, the error reporting system does not seem to work. You’ll probably be better off buying an exam textbook and making your own flashcards. ### 4/5 — Some questions are good, some not *2024-12-16, version 3.3.2* Good question: Unable to access network resources; IP is 169.254.x.x. What is the cause of the issue? Followed by 4 answers that someone who doesn’t know the answer wouldn’t know the difference between. Meh question: What device provides physical security by scanning the human eye? Followed by 3 answers that are obviously incorrect and then “retinal scanner” TLDR: If you can differentiate between pointless/ nonsense questions and good questions, you might get something out of this app. ### 2/5 — Used to be much better *2024-10-23, version 3.3.2* So many missing diagrams, repeated answers, wrong answer set for the questions, etc. The “report this question” button is broken also. ### 2/5 — Good starting point, but don't rely on for the bulk of your study. *2024-07-10, version 3.3.2* I used this app quite a bit to study for the Sec+ exam and I felt like it did a decent job of teaching definition and terms. While the test/quiz questions give you scenarios that set up the questions, I felt like the format wasn't very close to the actual exam style of questions. I would recommend redesigning your questions to match more closely with the actual Sec+ exam format. ### 2/5 — Faulty/buggy questions *2024-05-15, version 3.3.2* Some questions would reference a picture that wasn’t there. When you try to report faulty questions, the reporting feature never worked ### 3/5 — Target Specific Exams *2024-04-07, version 3.3.2* I primarily purchased this app for additional exam questions for the A+ exam. I don’t see an option to filter specifically for the 1102 exam, I already passed the 1101 exam and don’t need questions for that exam. Please offer an option to target specific exam material. Secondly, there is no option to revisit the initial setup questions. My focuses may have changed after setup and the Settings menu doesn’t provide such options. Other than that, material seems to be ok. ### 2/5 — Too many errors and typos. Lack of support. *2024-04-04, version 3.3.2* The app functions well and the questions and explanations are very useful. However, there are far too many typos and errors within certain questions that set you up for failure. There are missing words, missing illustrations in questions that require them for reference, and some of the answers are just plain incorrect and the explanations for the answers include information that wasn’t even part of the multiple choice answers. On top of all this, I’m completely unable to submit feedback when encountering these issues. Save your time and money and use PocketPrep instead. ### 3/5 — Serious Issues with English and Clarity *2024-03-23, version 3.3.2* This app is solid for the most part. But depending on which exam you study with, there are serious issues with the clarity of the language that is used. It feels as if the questions that are being submitted into the question bank are not being audited or have less than ideal standards. ### 2/5 — Not sure *2024-02-04, version 3.3.2* May be a good studying app but I’m not sure. Firstly some of the answers change; On the wrong answer retest the answers are different from what they originally explained in the first wrong answer explanation. Second they don't always actually use the wrong answer you input. So now you may be confused to know why your answer was wrong with explanation. Also some questions to seem to not actually make sense which is tricky and confusing. I know its supposed to help study and get used to the types of actual Comptia questions but I’m sure the real questions would make sense. Off to look for another study platform, please don't pay for this one. ### 2/5 — Good Overall but Has Bugs *2023-12-24, version 3.3.1* I really liked this app at first due to the amount of questions available in the access to all the different tests however, whenever a question is supposed to have a diagram or picture to reference the picture is not there until after I’ve answered the question wrongly, and then the picture shows up. When I try to submit the questions to Support, it gives me something went wrong message and I’m not actually able to submit any issues. this app has not been updated for 11 months so I don’t know if they are now absentee developers. ### 2/5 — Exam Version Display *2023-12-18, version 3.3.1* Please implement more updates. These exams may be out of date. I need to know if this is Pentest+ 002 or 001. ### 2/5 — Its meh *2023-10-04, version 3.3.1* Has questions but does not differentiate core 1 from core 2 on A+. Not worth the price for what it is. A basic question and answer. ### 3/5 — Good, but could be GREAT!!! *2023-09-12, version 3.3.1* This is a pretty good app as-is, and the lifetime subscription is by far the best choice if you plan on taking the other CompTIA certification exams! The reason I say it is good is because it has a fair amount of features in each course, and allows a variety of ways to study the material. The way this could be a GREAT is if the developers were to allow users the ability to choose the objectives for the questions/quizzes and tests. Also, for exams such as the A+ that have two separate tests you must pass to get the certification, it would certainly be GREAT if you could choose questions for only the exam you are trying to study for/pass. I’ve already taken and passed the first part of the A+ (220-1101), and don’t want to divert any of my study time for it anymore. Please add these features to a future update, and I will most certainly update my rating to five stars! ### 2/5 — Not worth the price *2023-08-19* Costly, the app has no option if you want to focus on one domain. Just take the app by darril gibson much much better or the pocket prep. Some typos were noted too. Not good. ### 2/5 — Very glitchy *2023-08-18, version 3.3.1* When I choose the wrong answer, and get to the end of the quiz the app says I picked a different answer then I actually picked. Also some of the answers are just wrong, somebody needs to go back thru and double check. The app lay out is nice and the idea is very good, but the actual engagement and content isn’t up to par. ### 1/5 — Do not pick this one *2023-05-26, version 3.3.1* This app is FULL of WRONG or dubious answers and literally every question has some sort of typo in it. Do not waste any of your study time (or money) with this app. The app itself looks fairly polished but the questions are horrible (at least for Sec+) There is a much better app out there. ### 3/5 — Wrong answer *2023-05-02, version 3.3.1* I was about to buy the app when I found a wrong answer. It said RIP is used to handle large scale internet traffic. I know the right answer is bgp. Two things I would like to see: 1. Additional zoom past 120% 2. Dark Mode: because it will help people focus on the material.
