The Concentration Grid app is based on the mental focus grid exercise. Mental focus grids have long been used as a tool by coaches and sports performance/psychology professionals to assess and improve performance of their athletes. The objective of the grid exercise is to select in sequence each of the numbers (randomly arranged and presented) in the grid. Performance is timed. The challenge is to complete the grid as quickly as possible. The exercise calls for focus and concentration. The grid exercise has been a long-time favorite of many baseball/softball coaches and players (typically using paper sheets, a pen and a stopwatch). Coaches/sports performance staff and athletes now can do their mental skills training work (and save paper) by using the Concentration Grid app on their mobile device. The Concentration Grid app is intended to provide competitive challenge and a fun/entertaining experience that is simple and straightforward ... like the printed paper grid exercise - but more convenient. Focus. Concentration. With the Concentration Grid app the level and nature of the challenge can be varied by changing the size of the grid - by selecting the number of rows and columns for the grid. Is this a genuine review? Our testing indicates no systemic performance problems. It is possible that memory management issues on your device could affect the performance of your apps. The only thing that (somewhat) interferes with my ability to find the number I’m looking for is when the red numbers are all over the grid. That forces me to look very carefully. ### 3/5 — Glitches *2018-06-24* Very much enjoy this game; the setup is basic but functional. Since purchasing the app, I’ve found there are a lot of times where the game will freeze - most often after finishing a grid and attempting to go back to the home screen the screen will go white and freeze, requiring the app to be closed then reopened. This occasionally happens during playing of a grid as well. It is annoying, but as the app is inexpensive it is somewhat tolerable.
