## What is ConcertPrep?

Going to a show? See what they're likely to play before you get there.

ConcertPrep looks at a band's recent setlists and gives every song a chance of being played tonight: the locks, the rotation picks and the wildcards. When the show's over, the actual setlist is there to compare, along with how many songs the forecast called.

PREDICTIONS FOR ANY TOUR
• A forecast for each upcoming show, song by song, with how often each one has turned up lately
• Openers and closers, songs that have been dropped from the tour, and the rare ones worth hoping for
• Recent setlists in full, with the songs you've already heard live marked
• Every song's history: how often it's played, when it last appeared, and what it's about

YOUR CONCERTS, ALL IN ONE PLACE
• Log the shows you've been to: search by band, paste a list, or add one by hand
• See them by year, band, city and country, on a globe of everywhere you've seen music
• Rate each night and keep notes; add the setlist yourself if it's missing

SHARE YOUR LIVE YEARS
• Turn your log into a card: a ticket, a poster, the numbers, or a map of your places
• Share one band, one year, one city or one country, right from that page
• The poster lists the songs you heard live, rarest first

FOLLOW THE BANDS YOU LOVE
• Follow artists to see their upcoming shows and the rare songs they've just played
• Suggestions based on the shows you've logged

TAKE THE SETLIST WITH YOU
• Send any setlist to Apple Music as a playlist, to learn the songs before the show

MAKE IT YOURS
• Four themes, light and dark, and three text sizes

Setlist data comes from setlist.fm, the community-built setlist wiki, and every setlist links back to its source. ConcertPrep is a free, non-commercial project: no ads, no paid tiers, and nothing that tracks you for advertising.

## Version history (last 4 releases)

### 1.2.0 — 2026-10-06

• Ready for iOS 27
• A gentle tap as you swipe between share cards
• Share a card for any city or country you've seen music in
• "Last 300" song history loads about twice as fast
• Smoother sign-out, plus fixes and polish throughout

### 1.1.1 — 2026-09-11

Setlists fill in over the hours after a show, so you no longer have to wait for one to appear.

Check for updates. On any setlist, pull the newest version from setlist.fm and watch songs appear as fans add them.

Clearer show labels. A concert that hasn't happened yet says so, and one that's still being written up no longer reads as an empty setlist.

Better playlist exports. When a band covers another artist, the export now finds the original recording instead of skipping it or guessing.

Plus assorted fixes and refinements.

### 1.1.0 — 2026-08-17

Log any concert — even ones setlist.fm doesn't have. Add the artist, date, venue and city yourself, type the setlist, rate the night, and keep your notes.
• Same-night grouping: openers and headliners you logged separately now read as one evening
• Clearer forecasts: interludes and drum solos no longer count as songs, every percentage shows its evidence, and a new "How forecasts work" page explains the math
• Venue and city on every logged show
• Faster searches and smoother loading throughout
• Dozens of polish fixes across every screen

### 1.0 — 2026-08-03

No release notes.
