### 5/5 — Excellent service and caring team

*2023-02-21, version 2.2.5*

Everyone on this app has been so helpful and caring. I have had a couple personal issues that I needed assistance with and they were quick and willing to help! I have Jill right now as a provider and she has been amazing. She is caring and compassionate and makes me feel at ease about all the things I present to her. I highly recommend.

### 5/5 — Loving Care focused on helping you recover.

*2022-12-31, version 2.2.4*

This service has been as promised! I could no longer afford the two hundred dollars a month with my previous provider/online service. I was scared! Im a father of four and a husband struggling to make ends meet. I had to find a new provider that I could afford and of course one that is legit. I have been using Confidant for a few months now. They are amazing, loving and caring people who honestly feel like family. They want you to get the treatment and the medication you need to stay on track and live a healthy lifestyle. The Confidant community is here to help people with addiction afford the care and have access to the Doctors and providers who are willing to assist you in getting better. I feel loved and cared for, and as far as my previous provider, I feel all they were concerned with was my $200 a month. If you are struggling with addiction and need help, I 100% recommend Confidant!

### 5/5 — The app that might change the world.

*2022-11-15, version 2.2.4*

I suggest this app strongly. It’s core design and idea is individualized and perfect really for anyone. I hope to see its expansion touch every home on earth that needs its services. I had a pretty specific setup when I joined confidant because I left another doctors office that I had some complications with. Those complications caused me anxiety and worry about how medical professionals care for and treat/diagnose patients. The confidant staff didn’t tell me I was any one thing or make me feel pressured in an negative way. We were able as a TEAM to mend the last parts of my suboxone MAT plan to allow me freedom. I say freedom because I’m currently a week off of suboxone and have experienced some beautiful trials during the process. They were there for me no matter what. You will feel like family here and conquer great feats with confidant alongside you.

### 5/5 — Same day treatment!

*2022-10-17, version 2.2.3*

Dr. Hillers is the my provider and she is the sweetest person, she isn’t judging or lecture you for being honest about your situation; share this app with friends who need help!

### 5/5 — The Amazon for mental health

*2022-05-22, version 2.1.15*

You know how Amazon has pretty much everything your looking for and usually at a better price? That's what Confidant is for mental health. (IMO) And if you don't even know where to begin- they offer a complementary session to answer any questions and help you figure it out. I mean honestly If you want to improve the quality of your life but haven't done anything about it then now is the time. Whether it be to focus on your goals or to be healthier or to drink less or get help for substance abuse just to name a few.. confident has the patients best interest in mind and genuinely care about what your going through unlike the majority of health care providers that can only "help" if you can afford it. The amount of money you have does not determine if you can get the help you need. Period.
So with all that being said. Go Fix yourself!

### 5/5 — Caring Professionals

*2022-05-04, version 2.1.14*

This has been such a Godsend- every one on the app has been helpful, kind and professional. A port in the current storm in my life. I recommend it highly to anyone who needs help.

### 5/5 — You can tell that it’s made by people who care

*2022-04-14, version 2.1.13*

There are a lot of apps out there making mental health products just to make a quick Buck. You can tell just from the way the information is provided and the way that they communicate that this company is filled with people who really care about helping people like me :)

### 5/5 — Great virtual help

*2022-04-01, version 2.1.13*

Confidant has helped me change my drinking and improve my mental health. The new interface is super helpful and I like that it’s DIY.

### 5/5 — Confidant Gets It

*2022-03-29, version 2.1.13*

There are so many programs out there that force you to follow a defined path and/or identify as an addict. On the other end of the spectrum, there are a bunch of new apps that aren’t backed by science and don’t actually work. Confidant is right In the middle. Accessible, truly helpful, and all about helping you live your best life, whatever that means to you.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Horrible Communication/ Unprofessional Providers

*2026-08-27, version 3.1.0*

These guys consistently mess uo scheduling and make it impossible to manual cancel an appointment. You can only reachedual, to cancel you have to ask a text chat that says it will cancel and then not cancel and charge your insurance any way even though more than ample time was provided. They wonnt give me a number to call, one provider moved an appointment without my consent and labelled me as a no show. Sounds like im making stuff up but i sincerely mean this, I would stay clear from this app and try any thing else. Im only still using it because my medical provider is connected through this app and I don’t want to miss out on medication.

### 1/5 — Error

*2026-07-18, version 3.0.8*

I woke up saying my app needs to be updated and it is not allowing me to update this and it is very frustrating as I have upcoming appointment appointments

### 1/5 — I think it was better before they updated

*2025-09-05, version 3.0.1*

I dont know what is going on with this app but it deffly needs to be reworked its a nightmare

### 1/5 — Dr. Hiller is the worse score

*2025-05-08, version 2.7.0*

Don’t use Dr.Hiller she does not care abibt you or anyone but herself. Changes appts constantly and don’t care about you.

### 1/5 — Confidant Health Data Breach – Class Action Investigation SEPTEMBER 6, 2024

*2024-12-18, version 2.3.0*

What are the penalties for violating HIPAA?
CulpabilityMinimum Penalty per Violation 1Annual Cap
1. No Knowledge3$100$25,000
2. Reasonable cause4$1,000$100,000
3. Willful neglect, timely corrected5$10,000$250,000
4. Willful neglect, not timely corrected6

### 1/5 — Professionals are unprofessional

*2023-12-13, version 2.2.19*

The professionals cross lines. Make snap judgements and start you on plans without FULLY explaining it. If you disagree they tell you how you are wrong in your feelings. Case managers were apathetic at best. APRN rxed me some serious meds and they have no follow through when a client doesn’t want to take the med. and refusal to taper off the meds they put you on. Case manager blatantly lied to me about a further treatment plan. The app was glitchy. No actual instructions on how to follow through with education plan, although most articles weren’t available. Find better care with a private provider. This company is not worth your physical and mental health.

### 1/5 — DO NOT BE HONEST ABOUT YOR HISTORY

*2022-01-14, version 2.1.10*

If you suffer from any kind of trauma in your history and you suffer from addiction do not tell them about your trauma history. They will cut you off with a quickness. It automatically disqualifies you for the app. They DO NOT DEAL WITH TRAUMA EVEN THO THEY SAY THIS

### 2/5 — Making things overly complicated .

*2024-04-02, version 2.2.21*

App is hard to navigate. Lots of things don’t work as they’re supposed to. Had my first visit today & was told I must confirm my next visit on the calendar. I spent 30 minutes trying to do so & just ended up full of anxiety. I would think it could be simplified much more.

### 2/5 — Good idea but presumptuous

*2020-05-18, version 1.0.0*

I was doing the introduction and the stupid dog asks “who or what brought you here” and then provides about 10 options. Not one of which is “myself”. It requires I choose an option that’s untrue. Great start.

### 3/5 — Glitchy

*2024-06-10, version 2.2.24*

The app leaves a lot to be desired. Random notifications about Sunday check-in on a Monday, unable to book through insurance, etc. I see it has fixed some bugs so maybe going forward it’ll be improved. My nurse is great, though.

### 5/5 — Finally! Real care!

*2026-07-19, version 3.0.8*

It’s already difficult when you’re trying to pull your self out of the mess of addiction. Never mind trying to find care/get rides or any of the other endless struggles you face when facing the monster of addiction. Confidant has made it easy to sign up, to verify insurance, and certainly the timeliness you actually get to see a provider are top notch. Not to mention as your trying to get back on your feet and needing maintenance psych meds for things like depression anxiety or adhd they make it easy towards a life of health instead. My husband and I both use this platform for regular routine meds and follow ups and it even takes NH Medicaid! Thank you confidant health for helping me feel like ME again!

### 5/5 — Fabulous practitioner

*2025-12-06, version 3.0.5*

I’ve known practitioner Chawnda for 20+ years. She’s a great provider a great person very caring she listens and you’re a person not a number. Her bedside manner is impeccable. I’m so glad that I found her. Thank you so much.

### 5/5 — Some of the best telehealth you can find! *Medicaid Accepted!

*2025-05-09, version 2.7.0*

They are so caring, always on top of any issues and have gone above and beyond when I had insurance problems. If it wasn’t for Dr. B I don’t know where I’d be! If you’re looking for non judgmental doctors and 5/5 care. You need to download now!

### 5/5 — Understanding, Non Judgmental, Caring

*2024-10-07, version 2.2.27*

Today was my first virtual appointment with a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. I was very nervous, but excited for this appointment. John Michael , the Clinician I saw made me feel welcome and comfortable. He was very supportive, understanding, and listened attentively. I felt like I was heard and throughout this meeting felt like I was not being judged, but accepted for who I am and where I’m at. Every single person whom I encountered from beginning the process of admission to actually having an appointment was very supportive, open, helpful, respectful, and non judgmental. I would definitely recommend Confidant Health if you’re looking for help and a way out.

### 5/5 — Easy platform, advanced clinical care

*2024-02-23, version 2.2.19*

I have tried other behavioral health service platforms to access both medication and psychotherapy in the past. Confidant has been the best combination of good customer service and easy to use interface alongside strong, clinical assessment and recommendation. Their responsiveness is also top-notch and my initial experience, although brief, stands apart among other experiences accessing treatment virtually

### 5/5 — Amazing Grateful for this App

*2024-01-01, version 2.2.19*

Connecting with professionals & access to tools to support well being & mental health.

### 5/5 — Amazing

*2023-12-05, version 2.2.19*

My therapist is amazing she listens without speaking until I’m done she helps me understand things by explaining I would recommend if you need someone to talk to see help here

### 5/5 — Real help, real doctors

*2023-10-06, version 2.2.18*

I had already been on medication for some years now but struggled with not having access to providers in my rural area. Each month driving over an hour to appointments, waiting all day and seeing someone that didn’t really care I finally had enough. Changing doctors when on this medication is a whole another headache. You worry if the new provider will work out and wonder if you should leave well enough alone but I’m so happy with the Confidant app, my doctor and the whole process. I have been with Confidant now for six months. My appointments on my phone are simple. I get my medication with no problems. I also now have a doctor that cares about my journey through this process. So if you need the help or just need a better way to do this hop on this app and get started.

### 5/5 — Happy

### 5/5 — Amazing Suboxone/Recovery/Psych app!

*2023-05-21, version 2.2.11*

My fiancé and I were with WorkIT for over a year and they very suddenly left their clients with only a 30 day script and a good luck, you’re own your own email. So I found Confidant and not only do they have a telehealth Suboxone program but they also have Psychiatrists and counselors who can help heal you instead of just writing you a script for part of your recovery, they cover it all! They are new but they are very well managed and accept MOST Medicaid patients and work with pretty much all major insurance providers. It’s so nice to have an app to go to for a complete recovery of the mind, spirit, and body! Right now they don’t have too many groups to choose from but, they are still new and plan to have many groups in the future as they grow. They’re not like any other suboxone program! They have a unique way of treating and a unique way to pair you up with the provider that’s going to cost you the least with what insurance you do have. They also accept those on self-pay and the prices are pretty standard to anywhere else. Personally, I see Erin Hillers and she is so easy to talk to! They are very organized and you can request emergency appointments should anything happen and you may have a lapse in medication. They let you pick the time slots (they are plentiful! ) available and I got in within 2 days! If you’re looking for an all inclusive experience with serious providers, check them out! I’m not sure what states they serve but they are the only telehealth provider I’ve found that works with Medicaid in Virginia! They do not accept VA Medicaid “Optima” coverage but they are working on covering with more insurances and every day! I would rate them 10/10 because the ease of use and the amount of slots they have every day. I believe they start at 8am and go to 7pm but providers can set their own hours!
