## What is ConfideFriends?

ConfideFriends is a place to say the thing you haven't said anywhere else.

Anonymous posts. Real replies. Slow, private connections.

You write something — a vent, a secret, something you're carrying, something you need guidance on. It goes out anonymously. People who felt something similar reply. You decide who to let in.

There are no followers. No likes. No public profiles. No one knows who you are unless you choose to tell them.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

Say something — Post anonymously using one of five types: Vent, Secret, Guidance, Find a Friend, or Share a Win. Your name never appears.

Get an AI response — A private AI conversation about what you shared. Choose a persona: Old Friend, Psychologist, Life Coach, Intimate Partner, Mild Skeptic, or Random Person. No one else sees this.

See who replied — Real replies from real people who felt something reading your words. You decide whether to publish them to the pool or keep them private.

Connect slowly — Reply back to someone who moved you. If they reply again, a private thread opens. No pressure. No read receipts. No notifications designed to pull you back.

DESIGNED TO BE SLOW

ConfideFriends is intentionally unhurried. There are no follower counts, no viral mechanics, no algorithmic feeds designed to keep you scrolling. What you share matters more than how many people see it.

The connections that form here form because two people chose each other — twice.

SAFE BY DESIGN

All content is screened before it's stored. Crisis content triggers an immediate redirect to the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. AI responses include a clear disclaimer that they are not professional advice.

Your full name is collected at registration for safety purposes only and is never shown publicly.

PRIVACY

Your posts are anonymous. Your replies are anonymous. Your private threads are visible only to you and the person you're talking to. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Profile screen.
