I have definitely selected one voucher! ### 4/5 — Unusable App *2020-01-09, version 2.21* EDIT:- The issue I had was finally resolved a week later with an update. The app itself is still a little buggy but it works fine, no issues using it at restaurants or purchasing vouchers. I’d really love them to accept ApplePay as it never quite remembers all of my card details (which isn’t a problem just a minor inconvenience). The support was great, they couldn’t really fix the issue there and then but the service continues to be 5/5. I’ve left my original review below so you can see how responsive the developer is. — This app is quite literally unusable on my iPhone 11 Pro running iOS 13.1 which has been setup as new (not from a backup) and after re-installing the app. - I cannot log into my account: after entering the password and tapping login, nothing happens. The button reacts as if tapped but doesn’t progress. Using the enter key doesn’t have an effect either. - When the app has loaded (after skipping the login) the navigation buttons along the bottom of the screen don’t work. When I tap them there’s no reaction and the pages don’t load. In summary it worked on my iPhone X and on my partner’s iPhone 8 both running iOS 13.1 but on my iPhone 11 Pro it’s a no-go. I cannot access my vouchers on my personal handset until the app is updated. This is a shame because I’m a big advocate of Confidentials, I’ve been using them pre-app. It’s otherwise a good service. I rate the app itself a 1/5. The service a 4/5. ### 1/5 — App doesn’t work properly *2019-11-17, version 2.21* I am unable to log into the app to purchase any vouchers. When I put in my email and password and click log in and error message appears saying an account doesn’t exist with this email address. I have even re-registered on the website using a different email and also activated my account and it still doesn’t work. I can log in successfully on the website but it doesn’t allow me to on the app, therefore unable to make use of the available offers. Very frustrating! ### 2/5 — Can’t purchase deals *2019-10-28, version 2.19* The offers are great but I always have to purchase off someone else's phone because it won’t let me buy the deals off my own. I’ve deleted and downloaded again. I did the update. Not sure why it will not work for me. ### 1/5 — Rubbish! Secondly and most annoyingly I can’t seem to search locations. It’s fixed itself on Manchester and doesn’t give me anywhere else. Get to checkout, press buy now nothing happens. Exactly the same as before . ### 1/5 — Do not use- unreliable *2020-10-28, version 2.21* This is long but here goes: After buying £50 for £100 vouchers my partner and I could not log on to our accounts once we used these at the restaurant. Luckily we had one already screenshot. Confidentials customer service were slow and unhelpful. Telling us we should’ve checked (which we did before leaving the house). We also provided them with videos of us logging in with our emails and passwords for which sometimes it let us log in and sometimes it said password incorrect/ user not found. This is within minutes of different attempts. So you CANNOT rely on this app! We’ve already had to pay instead of using the voucher and due to a delay in response had to rebook as we didn’t know what was going to happen. Ultimately we had to pay £100 we shouldn’t have as the app didn’t work, the re-book has now incurred a cancellation fee due to waiting for a response. This means what should’ve been a very nice night out with two vouchers we paid 2x £50 for has cost us £200 plus what we will now have to spend on the second visit to use the voucher that they now extended. In addition to this we have been told that our loggin attempts are because we are “confus[ed]”. Clearly not by the other bad reviews on here. Extending the voucher is a nice gesture but we’ve still had to spend over £100 extra because of a temperamental app. When this is accompanied by unhelpful, verging on being rude, emails it’s not acceptable. We also been offered a password reset- how amazing. ### 1/5 — Virtually unusable *2020-02-21, version 2.21* I have been trying all week to log in, the app won't let me log in normally, through Facebook and no email reset link has been sent! Nightmare. Missing out on deals because this app is useless.
