Instead, I got 50% of my money back and the other 50% locked into a coupon that expires in a few days. The funniest part? The coupon must be used in a single booking. If your next ticket costs less, the remaining amount disappears. If it costs more, you pay the difference. It’s a policy where the company wins regardless of the outcome. I also paid an additional premium for this so-called “protection,” but that amount isn’t refunded either. You pay extra for peace of mind and end up funding an expensive lesson instead. Even the cash refund that should have been credited is still not in my account after more than a week. And instead of taking responsibility or properly tracking the refund, customer support simply tells me to contact my bank. Apparently, once they press the “refund initiated” button, accountability also gets refunded. Calling this a refund is like calling a locked gift card cash. The marketing sounds great until you actually need the service. Read every add-on carefully before booking. A cancelled ticket doesn’t necessarily mean you’ll get your money back the way you expect. Regards, Team Confirmtkt ### 1/5 — This app is fake *2026-06-30, version 7.1.9* The app is fake they are saying for the 3x refund of coupon is give if your train is not confirm aur also they charge extra amount for that but the coupon is valid only for the same route of travel and also after the cancellation of ticket if you are paying extra for the 3x refund per traveller they will not give that amount to you and also if you’re payment is pending and failed if you are booking for train, bus and flight the money if deducted from your account they will not refunded to your account they will refund to your app wallet and you can use it for train and hotel booking only not for bus booking This is fake app don’t install it ### 1/5 — Scammers *2026-06-23, version 7.1.9* I booked a train ticket through ConfirmTkt because it advertised that if the ticket was not confirmed, I would receive 3× the ticket amount as compensation. The ticket was already around ₹700 more expensive than booking directly through IRCTC, but I trusted their claim. Unfortunately, my ticket was not confirmed, and instead of receiving the promised 3× refund, more than ₹1545 was deducted and I received nothing. In my experience, these advertisements are misleading and designed to attract customers with promises that are not fulfilled. I feel cheated and disappointed. Please read all terms carefully and be cautious before booking through ConfirmTkt. This is my personal experience, and I hope others do not face the same issue. ### 1/5 — Misleading Confirmation Claims & Unfair Refund Policy *2026-06-13, version 7.1.8* Don’t trust these so-called ticket confirmation apps. They charge extra money in the name of “Travel Plan” and “Ticket Confirmation” while showing 90%+ confirmation probability. But when the ticket doesn’t get confirmed, only the actual ticket fare is refunded, and the extra charges are gone. They advertise a 3X refund benefit, but why can’t that amount be credited directly to our bank account? Why is it restricted to a wallet that expires in a few days and can only be used for the same train and same passengers? If it’s truly a refund or compensation, passengers should be free to use it however they want. I’ve personally lost more than ₹5,000 over multiple bookings where tickets never got confirmed despite paying extra charges. Thousands of passengers face the same issue. It feels like companies are making huge profits from unconfirmed tickets while customers are left with restrictions and losses. I booked a train ticket through ConfirmTkt for my journey on 12 May 2026 and paid an additional amount specifically for the 3X Refund benefit. Unfortunately, my ticket was not confirmed. As a customer, I expected the promised refund benefit in a fair and usable manner. However, instead of receiving a genuine refund, I was provided with a coupon that was valid for only a very short period. Since I had no requirement to travel again within the next 7 days, the coupon expired without being used. As a result, the extra amount I paid for the 3X Refund protection became completely worthless. The marketing of this feature is highly misleading and scamming. The term "3X Refund" gives customers the impression that they will receive meaningful compensation if their ticket is not confirmed. The reality is that the benefit is restricted by conditions that many customers may not be able to fulfill, making the offer practically useless in many cases. I believe such terms should be displayed prominently and transparently before customers are asked to pay extra. Selling a benefit that expires within a few days and can only be used under limited circumstances is unfair and creates a false expectation of protection. I will be submitting complaints to the appropriate consumer grievance authorities and railway-related authorities requesting to ban this app immediately to protect passengers from being misled. I strongly advise travelers to carefully read all terms and conditions before purchasing the 3X Refund feature, as it may not provide the benefit that its name suggests. First one 11:30 shows 72 tickets available from Visakhapatnam to Chennai and within seconds all gone which become difficult for me travel from Vaio to Chennai. Second one After ticket not confirm by app n refund 3x which keeps only 1 week which is little unfair for some poor guys .
