Congress Pro has been an invaluable part of my toolkit for years. They are incredible pro-active when it comes to updating info. I use this incredible tool all day every day. There was a change in the latest operating system in how location services were approved by users, and it was crashing the app. We’re trying to figure out a way to bring it back (without the crash). ### 5/5 — Very Good A *2025-02-06* As a user of this app from nearly day one I used it successfully on the Hill. If I found a change of personnel they were responsive to make the change. Over time it became an excellent tool for individuals as most congressional and Whitehouse information for an individual, small firm or small nonprofit is very expensive. Today it is a very worthy tool. If the enterprise app was available for $10 a month would be well worth it. With the new update, it has been fixed and the 119th Congress will no populate on installation. Reminder, if you want the updates to continue, you will have to pay for a subscription. ### 1/5 — Misleading charges *2025-02-05* Buyer beware! I purchased this app for $9.99. When opening the app, I chose "use old version". The app wouldn't work. After communicating with the developer, it became clear that you MUST ALSO purchase a subscription for the app to work. This was not communicated. "Subscribe for Updates" is misleading. More accurate would be "Monthly subscription fees also required for app to function". **Developer response:** We agree this isn’t fair. It appears to have been a bug of sorts (apparently Bluesky was a culprit) and then just a mistake by our team. That’s on me. The latest update shows the 119th Congress up to the point you’ve purchased it, but if you want pay updates that will still be the subscription.
