Extremely helpful in learning tenses. Hope there will be an update soon. ### 5/5 — Amo CN Italian - Indispensable *2016-05-12* A really great app. Helpful to be able to restrict the verbs and tenses in the beginning to a small selection. Now I've graduated to all verbs and four tenses. The mailing feature is great to be able to shoot my results over to my teacher who can then test me on my progress when we meet. A little intro might have been nice but just playing around in options will suffice. It's harsh on typos - so beware! Might be nice to be able to play the sounds of the conjugations? I really like Conjugation Nation and in six months have come from zero to being able to conjugate most verbs in the present and several past tenses. ### 5/5 — Makes you work hard! *2016-04-03* When I studied French in high school the way I learned conjugations was to write them over and over in order (I you he she we etc). I learned the verb but sometimes had to run the whole set through my head to get to the right conjugation. This app makes me conjugate any form for any of the verbs I pick in a somewhat random order. This is harder but I think is a better way to learn as you become habituated to conjugating "on the fly". ### 5/5 — AWESOME! *2016-01-26, version 3.4* I have been using this for just an hour and I'm in love! I have only been using it a few days, but I think it may give me the practice I really need even though I all to often have trouble actually doing it. This method is as painless as I have found anywhere. It allows for endless repetitions with no discernible pattern to their appearance in the line up. This app is perfect for learning conjugations. Not only do you get instant feedback but the learner is also timed. You are thus encouraged to think quickly; there is no time to look up the conjugation. At the end of the exercise you see again what you missed and the correct answer. I cannot make it past question 4 of the quiz without the app crashing. I had high hopes for this all but sadly, I just can't use it. Great concept, but it doesn't work on my phone. Please get it fixed for IOS10!! ### 2/5 — Incorrect conjugations *2017-07-29* Some if the conjugations are incorrect, which makes it untrustworthy. For example, it says the present tense, third person plural, of diventare is diventino, which it is not. I have found others that are wrong. But there are any number of incorrect conjugations, which is like have a teacher that really doesn’t know the language any better than you do. There is also an odd glitch that causes the cursor to go to the middle of the screen and will not allow you to go forward or back, only to end the exercise wherever you are in your progress and start again. This occurs fairly frequently, and every time it does I go searching for another app. ### 3/5 — reflexive verbs and ability to modify saved lists *2019-01-31, version 4.3.0* I wish there were more reflexive verbs here like: alzarsi, svegliarsi, vestersi, etc. Also, it would be nice to be able to modify a saved list. ### 3/5 — Mostly Good *2018-05-31, version 4.3.0* It does what it is supposed to do for the most part. I find several instances when the conjugation is incorrect. This is intolerable for someone trying to learn a language. Also, there should be a way to add more verbs. Also, why can’t there be a setting where the verbs just continue to cycle through the entire list indefinitely, so that you are never conjugating the same verb in the same tense twice? I don’t know why I should stop at fifty... Fix those issues and I'll give this thing five stars. ### 4/5 — Voice recognition needs Italian keyboard *2017-10-08, version 3.7* I love this app and was thrilled with the idea of voice recognition. However when I use it English words are put into the answer, not Italian words. Please fix as soon as possible. Oops!
