Many other apps already offer SMS notifications, and it’s extremely helpful for appraisers who may not always see email or push notifications right away while driving or inspecting properties. It seems to be another unnecessary middleman and they are going to charge an additional fee starting 2025. ### 1/5 — High Cost Little Reward *2024-11-25* This platform is mediocre and no better than any other appraisal order management platform. Starting January 1, 2025 they are going to be charging a monthly fee to appraisers. These fees are on top of any already existing fees, including technology fees/upload fees. Appraisers should be very wary of using this platform as should lenders as the end result is increased cost to the borrower as passthrough expenses mount. Per the valuelink marketing emails, these monthly fees across 40,000+ appraisers and $19.99/month will create a 10,000,000+ windfall for the platform. ### 1/5 — SLOW *2024-04-17* The concept of the app is great, but the app is so slow that it’s barely usable if at all usable. Would love to keep using them, but if they cannot figure the slowness out, I will have to go elsewhere. ### 1/5 — Extreme lag time *2024-04-10* The app lag time and extreme delays make it very difficult to utilize on the go.
