## What is Connect?

Connect. helps you meet people around you in real life and keep talking without internet while you're both nearby.

Discover nearby people in a living orbit or switch to a clean list when it gets crowded. Add someone once, open a direct chat, and keep messages moving peer-to-peer with queued delivery, retries, receipts, local notifications, and direct photo or file sharing.

Every profile stays simple: a photo, a username, and a device-bound Connect ID so it is harder for someone to impersonate another person. Conversations include profile photos, unread badges, blocking and unblocking, inline attachment saves, and reliable reconnect behavior when people move in and out of range.
