## What is Connect Social App?

Introducing Connect - the social networking and community building app that helps you organize offline meetings and events with ease. Whether you're an expat or just looking to meet new people and catch up with current friends, Connect simplifies the process by minimizing time spent texting and negotiating meeting details. 

Here's how it works: 
Create an event - lunch on Saturday at 1pm, Simplylife (Festival Walk), and specify the number of people allowed to join. 
Users nearby see the event in their newsfeed and can send requests to join. 
The event creator accepts requests based on profile information that includes a photo, bio, and links to Instagram/Facebook/LinkedIn.
Both users receive a link to a WhatsApp chat to be in contact before the meeting. 
Both users get added to each other's connection list in the app for filtering purposes.
Users can also add profiles to their favorites list to receive notifications when the user creates an event.
