Instead of having the nice animation give the data to the customer. ### 1/5 — Didn’t work *2025-01-29* Tedious sign up process. When set up scanned the charger to be told it didn’t exist. Why can’t charging companies just use non-sign up contactless? Easier for everyone and more money for charging companies as they’d avoid these aborted attempts. Update: I got a reply saying there was a ‘large’ Charge as Guest button. However, this is obscured on my phone and the sign up by email is shown first. Either way, the charger still wasn’t recognised. **Developer response:** Hi Andy. There is a large 'Charge as Guest' button on the first screen so that you can charge without signing up. We are adding contactless to some sites where appropriate, but there are increased costs associated with this technology which increases the price/kWh. Charging by app keeps the costs down and enables us to offer savings such as can be found on our Smart Charging locations. ### 1/5 — Rubbish *2025-01-07, version 4.2.1* App wouldn’t download. We tried on multiple phones. Can’t pay over phone to initiate charging. Can’t use contactless. Pathetic system. And no, I wasn’t due to poor cellular signal.
