We have answered about ten questions, and I am disappointed at the poorly written questions. One had no verb. Another had compound objects that were laughable when actually reconnected with the verb in the context of the sentence. I understand multiple choice questions are regularly written to have the student provide the best possible answer. One of the questions asked what should be avoided when you have a tire blowout. So the student needs to choose the best possible thing to avoid from a list of things to avoid. Hmm. The proper procedure is to gain control of the car by applying the accelerator as needed, and then moving safely out of the flow of traffic. You don't want to jam on the brakes or make sharp turns. None of this is included in the answer choices. For your information, putting the car into reverse was not the best thing to avoid. Maybe the author is paraphrasing the DMV Manual because of copyright issues.
