### 5/5 — This app

*2024-09-08*

I've only been out of rehab a week and two days and this was one of the first apps I downloaded. The Admins on here are great and wonderful and the people on here just great. I run to this app quite many times a day for support and to read the community postings. Thank goodness for this app because I think it is help with my sobriety a lot.

### 5/5 — Still learning

*2024-08-15, version 2.10.84*

I’m still learning how to use technology but I’m not afraid and I’m willing

### 5/5 — Connections has been my lifesaver

*2024-08-10*

I have only been on Connections for a few days. It’s been amazing to get help from people who understand. Thank you!

### 5/5 — Great app some features are buggy

*2024-03-30*

Love this app but the checkin feature has bugs.
I check in everyday and I was very intentional about it. Three times now the app has ended my check-in streak when I know I’ve checked in everyday. It’s a fun feature but I’m not going to use it anymore because it’s aggravating when you keep up and loose the streaks.

### 5/5 — Refreshing

*2024-01-27*

It’s very refreshing and nice to have a place to convene with others in recovery (free of charge) and the ability to learn so much from many other like-minded individuals on similar journeys. This app is a blessing in disguise.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Account

*2025-11-18, version 2.11.117*

There is no way or option to delete your account from the app inside the app.

### 1/5 — Of No Benefit

*2025-10-14, version 2.11.94*

I think this is a phony app and consists of fabricated information. Find another app or GO TO A MEETING and find some real help with real people.

Information gathering.

### 1/5 — Waste of time

*2023-09-08, version 2.10.40*

Real connections are best this virtual app is worthless

### 1/5 — Idea is good, but actions speak louder than words

*2023-03-14*

The app and the peers on it support liars who created a scenario (2 women) that didn’t exist so that they could be the heroes in their own story. I owe NOBODY an explanation of what I’m doing or where I’m going. Yet these two women contacted people on my Facebook telling them lies that I was suicidal or I had offed myself, which were far from the truth. In reality, I unplugged and did something for myself for 3 days. When I turned my phone back on, I saw the chaos and drama these two women had created. The app supports these two women and their decisions and actions.
I have no use for liars or those who support them.

### 1/5 — Used to be, but no longer is.

*2022-10-14, version 2.9.74*

This app could be better if they actually listened to the participants issues. There’s very little communication when it comes to things that truly matter. There’s no consistency among the peers, just jealousy and trying to up somebody else. One peer can’t admit when he is wrong, and turns his “apology” around so that the person he actually wronged and hurt is, in his mind, in the wrong. And then rubs it in her face. It just proves he is a narcissist and this app ISN’T the safe place they claim, or that it once was….like 8 months ago.

### 1/5 — If you’re serious about your recovery then this is your app!

*2020-07-06, version 2.9.25*

Cajola87

### 4/5 — Recovery

*2026-04-13, version 2.11.169*

I love this app! I love being able to attend meetings on zoom and keep up with my recovery process.

### 4/5 — Skill Builder

*2025-11-20, version 2.11.117*

I can’t get past page 17. Other than that, app is awesome. Thanks- Jazzy 2016

### 4/5 — Chess app

*2020-08-03*

This app is helpful as it helps keep me connected to the group that is helping With my sobriety.
When I get messages through the day it is helpful to keep my sobriety and what I’m doing in the forefront of my mind.

### 5/5 — Very supportive

*2026-08-17*

I received an invite to this app. Idk why, it was via text I decided to give it a try ever since I’ve been ok. I believe it was god sent

## Most praised reviews (9 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — GET IT! USE IT!!

*2026-08-02*

This app has been one of my go too’s when I feel like I may use or when I feel like I need someone to talk to that UNDERSTANDS the life of an addict. I wish I knew about it sooner, I may NOT have relapsed, when I did.

### 5/5 — Recovery Focused

I cherish the Connections app. It has helped me to stay focused on my recovery long after counseling has ended. It’s also been helpful to interact with peers who are also on a recovery journey.

### 5/5 — A blessing

### 5/5 — Best sobriety app

*2026-05-28*

It is helping me just to go on there and realize that there is other people and there is a panic button. Somebody will always pick up if you need to talk. Nobody else has that but us.

### 5/5 — A life saver! Literally

*2026-04-29*

I adore this app. I have struggled with alcoholism and substance abuse for as long as I can remember and this app helps me so much by offering virtual meetings, peer support who KNOWS what this is like and they are always willing and able to help and just to be there.

### 5/5 — Great app

*2026-04-21, version 2.11.169*

It’s a great app. I haven’t had any issues so far.

### 5/5 — Walk the Walk

*2026-04-20*

This is a great tool I’ve come to rely on a daily basis to hold myself accountable for my recovery. I like structure, I like little self-care acts that confirm to me that I am living in Recovery. Great tools and community to help me stay Clean…today. Thank-you!
