We appreciate you being part of our community! ### 2/5 — Good in Theory but…. *2026-06-23* It’s mostly men trying to message you and the weird thing is their greeting message is exactly the same “hi, how are you” typed the exact same - it feels like a bot is trying to talk to you. one other man just straight up asked to go running together as his first message. it’s really a weirdly disguised dating app and it sucks because as a girl, it makes you feel unsafe. ### 2/5 — App is slow *2026-06-18* App needs to be updated, overall very slow app **Developer response:** Thanks for the feedback. You have to pay to be able to message people which is my biggest issue with the app. I can’t have a conversation with someone unless one of us has the subscription basically. Not a lot of people using it, and I see a lot of men using it (predominantly men who are older than me as someone in my early twenties). A bit of a red flag when the people messaging me are men that are about a decade older than me. I stopped using it the same day I downloaded it. **Developer response:** Sorry to hear you didn’t have a great experience. We’re actively working on improvements, including giving members more control over who can view their profile. ### 4/5 — Great start; needs users and could use a rebrand *2025-11-30* This app is well built for what it aims to do - help you find people near you for various types of IRL hangouts. I love the UI, the various features, and the fact that most of it is available for free. Unfortunately, even in the middle of a busy metropolis like Los Angeles, very few people are active or even registered on the app. The team behind ConnectPlayers needs to go all-out on advertisement and social media push, otherwise even the existing users like myself will eventually leave. In addition, I strongly suggest they change the name of the app as well - “Connect Players” sounds long, boring, and dated. I can easily tell my friends “I’m on Tinder!” or “I’m on TikTok!” or “I’m on Discord!” but I can’t say “I’m on Connect Players!” as it sounds awkward and embarrassing. I suggest the developers go with something short and fun like “PlayHub” or “PlayDate” instead. **Developer response:** Thanks so much for your review and feedback. The people don’t response. You don’t find group/s who want to talk, connect or meet. It’s paid apps but I think it’s not worth it. That’s my feedback. Basic features like messaging and creating club are locked behind paywalls , yet the free version still shows annoying Ads. It’s frustrating to see both ads and many restrictions at the same time. First there are no real users —just same set of fake profiles appearing repeatedly. They respond instantly once and never follow up. Second, the interface extremely poor.
