### 4/5 — Great app

*2026-07-25, version 20206.6.22*

Great app. Some minor bugs such as the close button hovering over the time on the iPhone

### 3/5 — Deceiving

*2026-07-10, version 20206.6.22*

Shows Kennedy Space Center in the ad, doesn’t actually include Kennedy space center, barely has anything in the major cities.

### 2/5 — Political

*2026-06-27, version 20206.6.22*

Too much political commentary when discussing art.

### 4/5 — Great museum

*2026-04-16, version 2026.3.26*

Not enough narrative

### 4/5 — Great - but the odd problem with lighting

*2026-03-27, version 2026.3.12*

Some (very few) paintings are partly invisible because of reflected light at their top third. A slight adjustment could fix this

### 5/5 — The best cultural app there is

*2026-01-14, version 2026.1.6*

And it’s everywhere you go!!

### 5/5 — tease

*2025-12-07, version 2025.10.23*

The intro is a teaser creating in me the desire to
get there right away to take in the touch and physical orientation of the Huntington experience

### 5/5 — Matisse Museum

*2025-12-04, version 2025.10.23*

I wish there was an audio guide in English.

### 3/5 — Some lookups hang

*2025-11-14, version 2025.10.23*

According to Speedtest I have great speed but the lookup page and the actual lookup hangs. Unclear what the problem is.

### 5/5 — So worth it!!!

*2025-10-02, version 2025.9.25*

This is an incredible guide for one who travels, haunts museum or libraries, has interest in history, or secretly desires to do any of the above. It has been a great assist on three continents.

### 5/5 — Soundscape impressions

*2025-10-01, version 2025.9.25*

So much potential for exploring the entirety of place, movement and mood - really nice to have long sections of sound without words.

### 5/5 — Must Have This App Before You Enter

*2025-09-24, version 2025.9.17*

It’s easy to navigate and you get a private inciteful tour.

### 5/5 — So grateful!

*2025-09-17, version 2025.9.8*

This app connected me with the gallery maps for the Detroit Art Institute and I am FOREVER grateful because I have limited time to spend at the museum and thanks to this app I actually created a plan so I could see all the works I wanted to. 🥲

### 5/5 — Super !

*2025-09-11*

### 5/5 — Free and fun

*2025-09-04, version 2025.8.28*

It does exactly what it says it will and is a great tool for anyone like myself who may have hearing impairment. The content is consistent and complementary to the spaces I use it in. Big up

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Lazy marketing

*2026-07-22, version 20206.6.22*

Why show an ad for art work that sends you to a link to the generic page of the museum? Seems almost click bait

### 1/5 — Stop

*2026-05-21, version 2026.5.8*

Please stop interrupting my museum experience; it’s a piteous distraction from the artistic experience, like brutally awakening someone from a delightful dream.
Please stop.

### 1/5 — what is this app for?

*2026-02-24*

sorry, useless App showing website content mostly…

### 1/5 — Just use AI

*2025-10-16, version 2025.9.25*

Gemini is literally better than this app…

### 1/5 — Exclusion

*2025-10-16, version 2025.9.25*

Amazing this app doesn’t have the California African American Museum. It’s expected.

### 1/5 — Poorly designed app. Tried using Metropolitan Museum of Art and there is no search feature

*2025-07-17, version 2025.7.3*

There is no information on Metropolitan museum of art section for the Costume Institute or its exhibitions

### 1/5 — Very slow and non-responsive

*2024-11-02, version 3.57.0*

Please, we don’t need fancy but useless eye-candies. We only want the content to be shown in a reasonable amount of time. The app literally freezes every time after checking an object. Completely ruining the experience of learning in these marvelous museums.

If I can I want to give multiple lowest score reviews to this app. Now I can only avoid the museums that rely on this lab and only come back later to see whether there are some fixes.

### 1/5 — This is so dumb

*2024-09-15, version 3.53.2*

You know what would be great? Instead of writing the artist name and piece next to the artwork we put a QR codes on the walls next to the pieces, you download an app, choose your museum, then search for the artist and exhibition, then guess at which piece you are looking at. Also great would be if everyone is looking at their phones instead of the art. Super idea!

### 1/5 — Don’t Get It!

*2023-11-10, version 3.35.1*

This is a bumbling, frustrating App that will kill all of your museum Zen. Use the museum’s audio tour if available but skip this aggravation

### 1/5 — Chews Through Data

*2023-09-09, version 3.30.3*

App constantly resets to the home page, forcing you to re-select and reload the museum/gallery. Makes for a slow and frustrating experience, plus consuming massive amounts of data, which is at a premium when travelling.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Only one hour

*2026-07-29, version 20206.6.22*

After only one hour I am glued to this guide. Thank you so much!

### 5/5 — Monet & friends in Venice

*2026-07-17, version 20206.6.22*

Amazing beautiful joyful awesome

### 5/5 — History at your fingertips !

*2026-07-15, version 20206.6.22*

Due to time constraints and family commitments I haven’t been able to see many of the interesting places or treasures from the bygone era . This site has allowed me to get up close to many of the objects and discover new and interesting things . Many congratulations to the producers and all who contribute .

### 5/5 — FCP

*2026-05-21, version 2026.5.8*

A beautifully presented exhibition of Mozart’s genius.

### 5/5 — Thank you, Mr Bloomberg

*2026-04-01, version 2026.3.26*

Excellent use of your fortune.

### 5/5 — Awesome! Use it in your own Backyard!

*2026-03-19, version 2026.3.12*

I use this app all over the world, but never thought to use it locally until recently. You can always find something fascinating to do and learn.

### 5/5 — Love this

*2026-03-13, version 2026.1.16*

Having the audio tours for museums at my finger tips makes the museum experience even more rich.

### 5/5 — Amy Sherald

*2026-03-06, version 2026.1.16*

Reviews are great! Help me to understand Sherald’s work.

### 5/5 — Excellent

*2026-02-07, version 2026.1.16*

Only just found this app but on first view it looks so good !
Plan your visit with previews so you aren’t disappointed when you arrive . Lived in Barnsley 50 years and didn’t know there was a museum/ gallery in Doncaster so that’s one to visit .
Not sure what all the complains are about Yorkshire Sculpture Park , the maps work well and give good photos, perhaps they need newer phones unless the app has been improved.

### 5/5 — Dolly and Giacometti

*2026-02-06, version 2026.1.16*

Very good explanations. I’m surprised that more people aren’t using it.
